Messmer has crunched and burned some of the garden walkways.
The house received an order of various IKEA shelves and fifty lamps.

[ He is here and actually dressed in modern clothes today. Doesn't he look cute? Anyway, he's very happy with himself and is twirling his flute between his fingers as he waits for everyone to arrive.

And when they do, he bounces on his feet a little in excitement. ]

Okay! So, some of you asked me for a hint and an extra truth booth, and I asked production about it and this is what they've agreed to give you.

You may get one hint and it can be about a specific contestant but to do so, you need to vote on one by Wednesday. After the vote, I will come back on Wednesday and give you your hint so you can use it to make your choices for the Truth Booth on Friday.

Hovering over the cake for a moment, because it needs a bit of sprucing up, in her opinion. And when she steps back: tada!

The cake is now for sex-havers only! If you haven't been in the Boom Boom Room she will slap your hand away, standing guard over it as she cheerfully eats a corner piece. ]

[ how are you doing this fine tuesday, ayto? sometime in the evening a catchy tune drifts through the house from the living room. following it will lead you to luka, who in addition to performing, has something to say! hopefully everyone is sufficieintly attracted by the music because he's not yelling or gathering people individually.

We need to finalize who we're using the hint on.

When it was discussed at the start of the week, the top contenders were Messmer or Odile. Serpilia and I were also brought up as our two valid pairings were randomly assigned, but given that I have more exclusions than everyone else, my pair can likely be deduced based off of logic later.

Strategically it would benefit us to deduce who is in the last male-female pair, but since we don't know the nature of the hint, we can't guarantee that the clue will pertain to that.

Personally, I'd vote for Messmer between the two of them, given how enigmatic he is.

[ And Wednesday afternoon rolls around, Wei Wuxian arrives back at the house. He's back in his usual attire, his robes, but you know, that's not because he doesn't like the modern look. But he has to go home soon, so...!

Anyway, he will call everyone to the kitchen and there is A NEW CAKE there. This time, chocolate. Mmm, chocolate. ]

Hello, everyone! I'm here with your hint. The majority of you voted for Messmer for this hint and thus, I have what production has told me.

As Wednesday rolls around, the group should be braced for another round of things to be revealed about them. Tonight, the estate grows quiet and comfortable as everyone settles in for the evening and eventually, the production team will lead them out to that initial courtyard where their favorite food was all those weeks prior. In the center of that courtyard is a round table, and on that table, a stack of envelopes similar to last week.

Fifteen envelopes this week! And the cards read as follows:

One of you cut yourself off from everyone and wallowed in loneliness during a pandemic.
One of you gave a gun to someone without weapon's training, resulting in them killing their friend and becoming an outcast.
One of you has been hiding your true identity for a long, long time.
One of you has had your heart repeatedly stopped as a form of training.
One of you has had your whole world wiped from existence and have nowhere to return.
One of you has systematically exterminated an entire culture in a religious war to satisfy your mother.
One of you is always gambling with your life to escape your job.
One of you is terrified of heights.
One of you is the only survivor after your home was struck by a meteor.
One of you killed your father. Or did you?
One of you sutured the bisected corpse of your friend in order for your student to take over his body.
One of you was abandoned by your parents for being too creepy.
One of you was kidnapped and drugged and forced to work on inhumane technology.
One of you was put on trial and condemned to die.

That's all they say and in the complete silence that follows after the cards are read, the cameras continue to roll.

become something like a ritual at this point, one that Odile decides is necessary after yesterday especially, and so she drops by everywhere she goes and everyone she sees and simply informs them of their weekly meeting in an hour, because she isn't going to be yelling. Nor will she be standing on counters, because she is perfectly tall enough to hold council once all are present enough-- ]

There is little doubt that Messmer will be one half of whom we are voting for the walk tomorrow, and I would prefer that he choose his partner as well -- that said, let us discuss what little is left to speak on, be it the logic behind choices, where we might go next, so on and so forth. We have only a few days left with one another, after all.

[ A beat, and then repeating-- ]

[ Then everyone can help themselves to the various non-alcoholic drinks and snacks she's laid out. Get juiced. ]

[ That evening, Wei Wuxian will show up at the estate. He's carrying a large crate of... something in his hands and a few production assistants are carrying similar crates. He will carry them through the estate, whistling as he goes to signal that he's here and the contestants will be encouraged to follow him out to the back courtyard.

When he gets there, he sets down the crate and beams at everyone. ]

Hello! Now, we have so little time left with each other so I hope you won't mind but Yingying asked for something to close out our time together with.

[ And now, he'll pop open the lid of the crate to reveal fireworks. The production assistants set down their crates as well, showing the same. Wei Wuxian picks up a little sparkler and lights it up with fire from his fingertips. It begins to sparkle and he looks delighted as it cracks and sparkles in the nighttime. ]

Fireworks, my friends! A simple treat to enjoy one of our last evenings together. Tomorrow, after all, is the Truth Booth. Then Saturday is the Match Ceremony and Sunday, everyone goes home!

So... yeah! I know things are a little awkward considering yesterday's, ah, event, but won't you indulge me a little?

[ And so, everyone is given fireworks to play with and set off! Wei Wuxian will stick around if anyone wants to hassle him, playing with a little sparkler in the corner with amusement. It really is a little idyllic, despite the atmosphere. ]

She does come back inside for the results, sensing the, uh, awkward vibes amongst the audience, so once the results are confirmed, she claps her hands together and puts on her best sensei voice (which, as it turns out, is pretty commanding)— ]
