marriagebrokerAfter one last night at the estate, everyone is set to big farewell on Sunday morning or afternoon or evening, however long they want to linger until they say their goodbyes.
There will be transportation to send them out of the estate and back to wherever they came from! They will leave just the way they arrived, of course. Taken all the way back home to their respective worlds.
But before that! Everyone is given one smartphone which they will be told can communicate with everyone else, including Wei Wuxian. If they want to call or text or whatever they want. There's already a group chat set up where Wei Wuxian has posted:
Safe travels, friends!
And Wei Wuxian will also share that they are able to travel to each other's worlds. They just need to return to the estate and from the estate, they can leave back to someone else's world. The estate will function as a "hub" of sorts for these travels.
So, farewell, friends! Here's to your perfect match!

Nothing has changed too drastically decor wise, there are still lanterns abound and a table full of food and drink. There is also now a third couch near the special couches for Messmer and Odile, if they so choose to sit there. But again, you do you! Wei Wuxian is certainly not going to stop you.
Speaking of that guy, he's here and dressed to impress again. He's looking snazzy. He's waiting for everyone to arrive, watching as they do and grinning broadly all the while. Then when everyone arrives, he clears his throat and begins to speak.
"You all have achieved three of the eight lights you need to win the game. With the match of Messmer and Odile, you only have to light up five lights tonight to succeed. Let's hope you pick right, huh?"
But he has complete faith in everyone! So, let's get this show on the road.
"Team Wangji, you're up."

"Congratulations, my friends! You are once again free from a blackout and losing a wish as you found a perfect match at yesterday's truth booth. Good job!" Wei Wuxian explains, twirling his flute in his fingers as per usual. "You might still get no lights again otherwise but, uh, let's hope not! I believe in you!"

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

It looks similar to last week with the slight exception, there is now a plush couch near the stage, and a single lantern already lit above the stage. There's still food, drinks, all sorts of things available for the contestants to snack on and enjoy.
On the stage is Wei Wuxian, looking presentable in his hanfu for today. He's busy twirling his flute in hand as he waits for the contestants to show up and find their places, and when they do he'll extend both arms out, welcoming the cast.
"Second match ceremony! You're exempt from a black out tonight because you've already found one of the matches."
He'll gesture to that couch from earlier, which seems to be The Special Seat for Ringo and Furina to sit at if they'd like.
"Now, we know how this goes so let's not delay anymore! Team Wangji, it's your turn to announce your matches!"

Wei Wuxian will greet the contestants early Monday morning with this new revelation.
"The production would like to send you all out on some dates! For those who are already familiar with the show's format, you know how this goes. For those who aren't, it's just a way to get off the estate and go enjoy each other's company elsewhere. Just let me or the staff know and we'll send you on your way~!"
With that, everyone is free to do their thing and enjoy this week to the fullest!

Jun. 7th, 2025 10:00 ammarriagebrokerToday's Match Ceremony starts the moment the sun goes down. They will be led to a courtyard on the estate, filled to the brim with lanterns of all kinds and plush couches and chairs for them to sit on. The place is lit bright by the lanterns and the vibe is very cozy. There will be a few camera crews lingering around, ready to catch sight of the contestants as they settle in and get comfortable. There is also food and beverages, some alcohol, some non-alcoholic, for everyone to partake in.
In the center of the courtyard is a stage, hanging above it are eight lanterns, none of which are lit up. Wei Wuxian stands in the middle, dressed to impress for tonight's festivities. In one hand, he has his flute, in another, a cup of huangjiu. He lifts it merrily, giving a laugh before knocking back the alcohol and tossing the cup away. (A staff member nearby catches it, thank god.)
"Welcome, everyone! To your first match ceremony! I am your humble host and we're here to see if chemistry can happen, even under duress~!"
A staff member nearby grimaces at that. It might be the same staff member who caught the cup. It's fine, the producers won't punish him. Probably.
But characters will notice that there is a podium next to the stage for them to lock in their answers.
"For those who are new to this, let's talk about how this works. First, I will call up one of the members of Team Suibian and they will go to the podium over here, make a choice of who they think their match is, and together you will press your hands to the podium to lock it in."
He gives a hum, twirling the flute in his hand a few times before grasping it by the end and using it to point at the contestants.
"As a result of your choices, the lanterns above me will light up with however many perfect matches you've chosen. It is your job to figure out which of the choices made tonight are indeed perfect matches. If you aren't able to get any of them right, you will get a black out. Which means, someone will lose their wish. Don't do that!"
He'll let his warning hang for a moment before smiling, tapping his shoulder lazily with the flute and then grinning broadly.
"With that, let's get started."

Jun. 2nd, 2025 09:00 ammarriagebrokerThe characters will arrive one by one, in whatever vehicle suits them the best to the front of estate. It's a beautiful estate filled with plants and trees and little ponds and all kinds of little hideaways. But it all cumulates at the main house, where they will be dropped off and greeted by a familiar face who stands outside the house and welcomes them in. They will be able to bring one suitcase with items and clothes as well as their pet(s?).
The main thing to notice when you step into the house though is that cameras are everywhere. Despite the many little hideaways of this house, there's no privacy whatsoever. Oh well!

"Welcome, my affection seeking friends! This is where you'll be staying the next few weeks. Find a place to settle in and get to know each other! I'll be around, in case you need anything."

A few things to note, of course:
- There is only one "bedroom" which is a large room, with a closet full of futons to roll out and use in said room. Sleepover time!
- There is an extra, extra, extra, extra large futon for Messmer.
- In one of the rooms of the estate, there is a lovely piano ready for use. Feel free to ask for more instruments, if you'd like.
- The kitchen is filled with food of all kinds and modern appliances so folks can cook whatever they'd like! There is also a bar in the kitchen, stocked with alcohol.
- In the living room, there is a screen showing everyone's profiles. It is touch screen, so feel free to swipe through!
- There is, of course, a banner in the living room reading 有緣千里來相會 (which, for the keen-eyed, translates to "Fate brings together those that are a thousand miles apart"). This was definitely written by the host.
- There is a welcome cake.

this is an interest check for Are You The One: Round Seven! this will be an adults round and so the character restriction is they have to be 20+ and THEY HAVE TO WANT TO BE HERE. otherwise, no other restrictions. good person, bad person, whatever, app whoever you want as long as they're over 20 and they want to be here.
the game will run from May 31st to June 29th. i could shift by a week but i'd rather not run over july 4th weekend if the playerbase isn't around for it, so let me know.
