No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

... Someone else who isn't Serpilia. She was told to bring a swimsuit, so she did. It's not even a remotely revealing one, so she might be one of the most covered up people at the Onsen right now.

Either way she's settling comfortably into the water and relaxing. She'll brighten up whenever she sees someone, and wave them over regardless of their own state of dress. ]

[ It's alright. One can tell just by looking at him that he isn't cut, and while Serpilia's dreams of being on this show and being surrounded by big muscley men and extremely beautiful women only came true in the second half there, she still appreciates his company.

Noodle limbs and all.

She looks amused like by the question. They're both dressed, and it's almost like sitting in a warm pool. What's there to mind? ]

[ A short little noodle. A little penne, or maybe a gemelli. It just means when they have to protect him when the troll attacks later that he'll be easier to pick up and carry away.

Besides, Serpilia is 5'2". Who is she to judge? ]

I've got a theory on that one. Either they're making bank off of some big name sponsorships, or some independently wealthy weirdo really likes to live vicariously through people.

[ She leans back against the ledge, only half submerged herself. ]

I would think that whatever tech they needed to bring us so smoothly here from different worlds would be more costly than this trip, unless...

[ No guarantees this onsen was even in the same world as the manor. ]

Maybe it's just that easy for them to whisk around like that?

[ Odile is Not a coward, stepping in beside Serpilia at her suggestion and settling into the water with an exhale, relaxing slightly. ]

... This is my second time enjoying waters like these in the same week, in fact. Yi Sang and I enjoyed one together as well.

[ For all she's wearing her suit, she does not seem all that bothered that Odile is not. The lack of modesty doesn't particularly fluster, but also Odile explaining to her that she's from super old timey times makes Serpilia think perhaps this is just how things were back then? ]

No way? They let you guys come here before this? I'm kind of jealous right now.

[ Yi Sang seems like he could use some calm and gentle relaxation. He doesn't seem that stressed or anything, he just has big sad wet animal vibes, and a nice warm bath might help. ]

[ And she would be correct!!! It is much more...... "encouraged"....... in modern times for women to wear a towel in onsens, even if men are given no such restriction. So truthfully, such puritanical modesty might never find its way into her world. ]

Shoko and I went to a spa last week as well, so I can certainly claim at this point that my years feel as if they're melting off of me.

[ She is!!! Being so spoiled!!! As she should be!!! ]

It reminds me much of Ka Bue, in fact. We would have large gatherings such as this in a single spring as well, though I prefer this company to that of those back then.

[ Serpilia had at least been treated to a spa day with the girls, so she supposes she can't complain too much, and at least wasn't given a part two of the Taco Bell date from the week prior, so...

She'll sit up a little, looking interested. She's learned a little about Odile's world from their fishing trip, but it's not like she knows that much about this woman or where she came from still. ]

Once she's in, though, she sighs, contented. There have been moments here and there of relaxation so far, but this takes the cake. ]

[ Serpilia nods in a faux solemn understanding. ]

What do you say we ditch the rest and just stay here for the remainder of the show? Ringo said she'd come visit me if I refused to go back, so she can fill us in on how things are going.

[ definitely more covered up than Messmer, who is currently clad in nothing more than a towel around his waist. Not that he's particularly concerned about that - it's the reveal of the winged serpents being quite literally part of his body has him more worried. His attempt to approach the pool stealthily was, unsurprisingly, a failure. It's hard not to notice the giant man with snakes. Serpilia's call freezes him to the spot for just a moment before he seems to resign himself to his fate and begin padding over. ]

'Tis fit to boil.

[ hot springs aren't really a thing where he's from, but he's quite certain this water is not Fine but actually Very Hot. ]

[ She's curious, and while she's shameless in a lot of ways, she has some sense of tact in the ways she thinks matter. So she'll glance at the spot on his chest at least where the snake is joined to him, but doesn't comment on it as she forces herself to look back at his face and not make him feel too weird for his additional snake bits.

Maybe it's normal where he's from? ]

[ it's super not normal, but Serpilia's efforts are appreciated nonetheless. Kind of. He doesn't have much of a response for that, if only because he was expecting more staring and questioning than he got, if not an excuse for her to not have to sit next to him. ]

[ it sounds somewhat more pitiable than he'd intended, although his monotone affect at least takes the edge off of it. Messmer had intended to go pick a spot far away from everyone so as not to disgust them. ]
