week three | mingle

No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

Better go see what that's about, huh?

[Yes and no!]

You'd have to ask them! I, for instance, like a tomato sauce or the classic cheese...but I've started experimenting with my own recipes lately.

Oooh, I see -- it's quite admirable that you've learned to cook! Have your experiments been fruitful, then?

["That you've learned to cook," he says...just like that mysterious macaroni person! Continuing to talk about this certainly won't lead her to self-incriminate further, will it?]

Why, yes, thank you for asking! I like to keep it simple, but I enjoy trying new flavors. [When food becomes experimental just for the point of being experimental...then it just seems silly and gross to her, is what Furina is saying.] I've come up with some very unexpected combinations!

[ You know, he wouldn't even judge this mysterious macaroni person. Who is he to give them shit when he himself definitely just eats whatever's available whenever he remembers? ]

How nice. It's always good to try new things, isn't it? And these unexpected combinations sound interesting. What kinds of things have you been experimenting with?

[Listen, sometimes your depression and/or safety food is just plain boiled noodles with whatever sauce sounds good at the time.]

Harra Fruit and fish jelly. [She says this with some pride and that genuine self-satisfaction of someone who thinks they've come up with a really good idea, so she must be serious about it.]
