No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

Better go see what that's about, huh?

[ And she would be correct!!! It is much more...... "encouraged"....... in modern times for women to wear a towel in onsens, even if men are given no such restriction. So truthfully, such puritanical modesty might never find its way into her world. ]

Shoko and I went to a spa last week as well, so I can certainly claim at this point that my years feel as if they're melting off of me.

It reminds me much of Ka Bue, in fact. We would have large gatherings such as this in a single spring as well, though I prefer this company to that of those back then.

[ Serpilia had at least been treated to a spa day with the girls, so she supposes she can't complain too much, and at least wasn't given a part two of the Taco Bell date from the week prior, so...

She'll sit up a little, looking interested. She's learned a little about Odile's world from their fishing trip, but it's not like she knows that much about this woman or where she came from still. ]

What was wrong with your company before?

We were all much younger and them stupider. There was at least one person who became so inebriated that they nearly drowned after claiming they could, in fact, withstand the heat of the springs, and tried to hold their breath beneath the water.

I don't imagine anyone here would attempt the same, even after having their fill of alcohol. However, I simply didn't favor... large, loud gatherings -- I still don't, mind, but I was far pricklier before.

[ It does get a small laugh out of Serpilia, light and tinkling before it fades with a small relaxed sigh as she leans back, her wings seemingly not an issue as they press back into the wall and out of sight. ]

Yeah, I'd prefer if no one did anything like that either. Ending the trip early so we can rush someone to a hospital doesn't sound like much fun.

No, but... I'm certain some of our peers wouldn't mind playing doctor and attempting a little CPR to revive any who might find themselves in a similar position.
