Edamura protested the idea of anyone being here for any reason except finding a match, so it might bother him. Shoko's a doctor, so she might be wealthy already...but I don't know if someone being after her money would brother her or not.
Here's another spin: Poppy's matched with someone without any money at all, to drive home the fact that love isn't dependent on finances. That sounds like a story worthy of "television."

Ah, a classic can't-buy-me-love scenario... that's a little harder to measure, but...our friend Yi Sang doesn't seem the type with bags of money. They'd make quite a sensational pairing, to be sure.
I was nearly apprehended for an illicit action by the governing body of my residence at the time. As I was spirited away before an arrest could be made, all of my possessions were left behind.
I cannot speak on the matters of love or what constitutes a drama as I lack experience; however, my understanding is that Miss Poppy is a passionate woman with a clear vision for her future. Rather than affluence alone, what she seeks are acceptance and support from those who can help her soar to greater heights.
[Well!!! "Poppy want someone with money" might've been too diluted of a statement.]
And that "support" might just be easier to come by if she can win the affection of someone with a lot of money to spend. But... the acceptance part is a bit trickier, isn't it.
