No, I think you're right. Sending him in there might make for good television, but it would make for poor television. So perhaps our unassuming friends should be our target instead. Poppy and Edamura, maybe Shoko, too.
[He nods, thinking, then offers a little tidbit that he thinks is harmless enough.]
Let's come back to the topic of Messmer next week, though. I'd like to get to know him a bit better, and I think we might share a few things in common, but it's hard to say so early on.
[Right now, he has only very, very surface-level thoughts about their fellow snake man that intrigue him.
But moving on for now!]
Would Edamura or Shoko be okay with the... er, money thing?
[ If nothing else, it'd be a shame to lose Messmer so soon, if they're correct. There's much more to him that Aventurine would like to peel back and see...
Anyway. ]
Edamura protested the idea of anyone being here for any reason except finding a match, so it might bother him. Shoko's a doctor, so she might be wealthy already...but I don't know if someone being after her money would brother her or not.
Here's another spin: Poppy's matched with someone without any money at all, to drive home the fact that love isn't dependent on finances. That sounds like a story worthy of "television."
[ Brows pop up - now he's thinking like a television producer. ]
Ah, a classic can't-buy-me-love scenario... that's a little harder to measure, but...our friend Yi Sang doesn't seem the type with bags of money. They'd make quite a sensational pairing, to be sure.
I was nearly apprehended for an illicit action by the governing body of my residence at the time. As I was spirited away before an arrest could be made, all of my possessions were left behind.
I cannot speak on the matters of love or what constitutes a drama as I lack experience; however, my understanding is that Miss Poppy is a passionate woman with a clear vision for her future. Rather than affluence alone, what she seeks are acceptance and support from those who can help her soar to greater heights.
[Well!!! "Poppy want someone with money" might've been too diluted of a statement.]
And that "support" might just be easier to come by if she can win the affection of someone with a lot of money to spend. But... the acceptance part is a bit trickier, isn't it.

Verso rubs the back of his neck.]
Maybe. [clicks his tongue] Ah, this is difficult.
[Maybe Shoko and Poppy, then?]

[He was relatively rich, once. And so, in response to his having "bags of money":]
That is to say, I do not.

[He should inquire more, but maybe he’ll shelve that for now. When they’re not discussing… the Truth Booth.]
…
Well. Do you think it’s viable, or at least good for drama? You and Poppy.
