No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

Yeah. The way I look at it, Maya-Aventurine is the high risk, high reward scenario.

Personally, I think Verso-Nico's a done deal. They've gotta be a match. So that's the low reward, low risk option.

I think what it comes down to is how much people care about finding all of the matches verses finding at least enough to keep our wishes safe at the end.

Gotta also remember that we won't get any wishes at all if we don't get it right. But, eh. I'm confident that we can figure it out whichever pair we send, so I'm not too fussed.

I think there are a few pairings this previous round that we were reasonably confident in, only for them to be struck down. Taking that into account -- I don't think it would be a bad idea to confirm if our general logic is correct with the low reward, low risk option before we must make pairings for the matching ceremony. And on the chance that we correctly identify a match with Mr. Nico and Mr. Verso, it would provide us with another safety net to prevent another worst-case scenario, no?

Our names have still come up pretty frequently in these discussions. A true high-risk, high-reward choice would be Serpilia and Luka.

Technically, Luka's percentages are better because he's already been in the booth with someone and had it crossed off the list, but your point is taken.

Why, don't like the idea of you and Maya being high risk, high reward? I thought that'd appeal to you.

Because I'm almost certain that she's my match.

[ And that Nico and Verso are matched as well. His reasoning is based less in probability and more in emotions, though, which is out of the ordinary for him and that leaves him on footing his unfamiliar with. ]

Is it truly for the best to test something we're confident about?
