No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

I think what it comes down to is how much people care about finding all of the matches verses finding at least enough to keep our wishes safe at the end.

Yeah. It's a good point.

Gotta also remember that we won't get any wishes at all if we don't get it right. But, eh. I'm confident that we can figure it out whichever pair we send, so I'm not too fussed.

It sounds like we're still leaning to a couple that have really high probabilities of being right regardless, so you're right. We'll probably be safe regardless.

How're you feeling about the fact that you're probably with one of the other lovely ladies of the house?

[ She pauses to look out from her high vantage point at their group at large. ]

Considering the difficult natures of the unattached men here? Pretty lucky actually.

[ She means you, Messmer and Rom, even if she likes you both just fine as people.

Rom will be removed from this list the minute she gets a whiff of Edamura's crush though. Assigned Bean Boyfriend before he even agrees to it, because that's where her friendship loyalties lie the strongest. ]

Ringo's just cracking up immediately.]

[ Her smile doesn't waver for a second, because she doesn't feel even the smallest speck of regret for her comment. ]

Though I still have to figure out which lovely lady I'm supposedly meant for. So that part is harder.

Let's see... your choices... yeah it's tough. I could see you working really well with Shoko or Poppy easily... hmm, have you hung out with Yingying a lot?

[ Serpilia draws out a hum at Ringo's attempts to make guesses. ]

So... I might just discount Poppy a little here.

[ An apologetic smile, even though it's not like she's saying it to Poppy herself. ]

I don't know how well Poppy would be able to handle some things going on in my life...

[ It's why the incredible collected Shoko, or the seemingly unflappable Odile were the two she was considering right now. ]

I really haven't talked to Yingying in any deep way though. She's so sweet, and I've liked the pretty relaxed chats we've had, but I wonder if I could really offer her much considering what she's told us.

[She can't argue that.

Ringo just brings a hand up to her chin, thoughtful.]

Yeah... if you're living a super crazy or dangerous life, that might be a lot for Poppy. Does that mean... you wanna bring someone home with you?

Not super crazy or dangerous at the moment, but definitely not the safest...

[ She offers Ringo an awkward smile now. ]

And it's not going to get any safer in the future, so I'm not really sure that I could or should bring anyone back with me, though I've got some important things I need to look after, so I can't go with anyone else either.

[ A conundrum for a dating show, right? Though maybe, just maybe, Serpilia went into this assuming nothing lasting was going to come out of it. ]

I don't really think that's what Poppy wants, though I don't know if that would have been taken into consideration with matches.

[She's starting to get that sense. So... in the end...

Well, Serpilia's a logical and sensible woman, after all. Ringo shouldn't be surprised. Still, it seems like a shame when Serpilia is so cool.]

I don't know either. It's not really a variable we've tested, so it's good to keep in mind, like you said.

... But if you ever need some back up, don't hesitate to call on me, okay? I know my way around some dangerous situations!

[ There's the smallest hint of pain in her smile, but for the most part it is warm and genuine, appreciative of the quick offer. They really have known each other for a pretty short amount of time, and for Ringo to already be willing to come to her rescue is pretty touching. ]

From what you've told me, I bet you could handle it.

You bet I could!

[Shamelessly. But there's warmth in her smile as she leans against the counter.]

And... I like making sure the people I care about are safe and good to go.

[ The warmth of that smile seems to go right to Serpilia's core. She's had a pretty easy life for the most part, with a small but loyal group of friends, a decent paying job that only occasionally put her on dangerous missions, and an engaging hobby. She doesn't have the sort of issues some of the other sadsacks on this show do, but at the same time...

Who doesn't want to have someone tell them they care about them and want to keep them safe? It just feels nice. ]

I'll make sure to keep you on call for those moments then.
