week three | mingle

No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

Better go see what that's about, huh?

I wonder if it's wise to simply assume we're correct about Mr. Nico and Mr. Verso, though.

[ i, personally, am getting sick and tired of writing these honorifics all the time i'm gonna fucken kill rom ]

I think there are a few pairings this previous round that we were reasonably confident in, only for them to be struck down. Taking that into account -- I don't think it would be a bad idea to confirm if our general logic is correct with the low reward, low risk option before we must make pairings for the matching ceremony. And on the chance that we correctly identify a match with Mr. Nico and Mr. Verso, it would provide us with another safety net to prevent another worst-case scenario, no?

[She just flaps a hand at that, but it isn't a dismissive gesture so much as a casually acknowledging one.]

I'm fine with that. If Verso and Nico aren't a match, we're back to the drawing board with the other matches that week, so you're right that that'd, uh, suck.
