[ Wei Wuxian hasn't actually left the estate yet. He's been busy getting drunk with a stolen bottle of wine and playing his flute while sitting on a tree branch in the garden. You might have seen him from the window of the living room while watching the Truth Booth. Oops!

Either way, when the announcement is made that Yingying and Luka aren't a match, he'll hop off the tree in a weirdly graceful way (he is using qinggong) and skips his way into the house, flute tucked in against his belt and bottle of wine grasped in his hand. When he arrives to where everyone is gathered in the living room, he'll whistle to get their attention and though Yingying and Luka aren't back yet, he's still going to make his announcement! ]

So! As you know, we break the group into two teams to balance out voting. This week it's Team Suibian's time to vote. That means:

[ Let's be real, she and Luka probably return arm in arm still, because they are normal... but once Yingying is on her own, she's just going to flop comfortably on one of the couches, unaware that Wei Wuxian just told them they're supposed to be picking out who they should vote for or that the rest of the house was even watching. [ Now would be a good time for a nap... but she's also content to just lay here and catch up with everyone. If anything, she's happy closing her eyes and listening to everyone chatter; it's comforting. ]

So. While I hate to put the people he called on the spot, you're about to be on the spot tomorrow, so let's get any potential stage fright out of you and talk about your potentials!

I think it'd be a good idea to space out options, that's all. So if any of you have... I don't know, three to five candidates in mind, for whatever reason, it might not hurt to talk about them.

Most of whom I would have chosen are on the same "team" as I, so I'll sit this out for now. For now.

Since nobody really knows how they're determining matches, then. . . I guess I'm picking based on how comfortable people make me.

Which means my options would be Ieiri-san, Odile-san, and you, Maya.

We should be a little strategic about, shouldn't we? And yet...it might be fun to see how spectacular we do if we leave it purely up to chance.

One, Miss Poppy. I believe there's a certain level of friction involved, though she's indulged me so far. Not bad for television. Two, Edamura-san. Same as above. Three, Ieiri-san. I believe we have enough in common that producers might find it a compelling storyline. [ Pause. ] That said, I've tried to make strategic choices. If anyone has better suggestions, I'm happy to go with those, instead.

When our graciously nimble host [who is over there being all goofy about it] interviewed us on arrival, he repeated some of the traits I listed back to me. It was something like, "you like an interesting woman who wants you to be yourself and doesn't get tired of being around you, who will fight for your time and wants to travel with you."

[It wasn't "something like" that, but Furina is being a little flippant.]

I clarified my preferences with him like I did the rest of you last night. We had a minor misunderstanding. [Ahem... She will breeze past that part, as it's water under the bridge!] I might not only be interested in women, but I like them more, so I'll be starting there.

[Verso listens for a little bit, taking into account everyone’s thoughts for their picks. Most are strategic and well thought-out, and he should do his best to put in the same effort, beyond the simple reasoning of “I like their company.”]

I’ve wondered if my match is someone who enjoys music… I guess that’s a superficial reason on the surface, just sharing an interest, but—

[He pauses.]

It wasn’t exactly a love of mine that was allowed to flourish… as much as I’d have liked in my family. So matching me with a musician or performer for the sake of a “fulfilling” storyline might make for good viewing.

In which case, it would make sense for me to pick Nico, Luka, or Yingying.
