The characters will arrive one by one, in whatever vehicle suits them the best to the front of estate. It's a beautiful estate filled with plants and trees and little ponds and all kinds of little hideaways. But it all cumulates at the main house, where they will be dropped off and greeted by a familiar face who stands outside the house and welcomes them in. They will be able to bring one suitcase with items and clothes as well as their pet(s?).

The main thing to notice when you step into the house though is that cameras are everywhere. Despite the many little hideaways of this house, there's no privacy whatsoever. Oh well!

When everyone is gathered together, the host from earlier will greet everyone with a merry:

"Welcome, my affection seeking friends! This is where you'll be staying the next few weeks. Find a place to settle in and get to know each other! I'll be around, in case you need anything."

He genuinely seems to mean it, at least?! But that seems to be it, he'll slip away in the meantime and leave you all to it.

A few things to note, of course:

• There is only one "bedroom" which is a large room, with a closet full of futons to roll out and use in said room. Sleepover time!


• There is an extra, extra, extra, extra large futon for Messmer.


• In one of the rooms of the estate, there is a lovely piano ready for use. Feel free to ask for more instruments, if you'd like.


• The kitchen is filled with food of all kinds and modern appliances so folks can cook whatever they'd like! There is also a bar in the kitchen, stocked with alcohol.


• In the living room, there is a screen showing everyone's profiles. It is touch screen, so feel free to swipe through!


• There is, of course, a banner in the living room reading 有緣千里來相會 (which, for the keen-eyed, translates to "Fate brings together those that are a thousand miles apart"). This was definitely written by the host.


• There is a welcome cake.

[ well, there's at least one participant who seems entirely at home from the get-go. slim, blonde, and with eyes the color of honey, his outfit itself gives off a casual sort of elegance. luka enters the estate entirely at ease, pausing a moment to look at the gardens, expression almost nostalgic, before he heads inside.

once in the interior he smiles, placid, looking at all the manner of cameras tucked away in every nook and cranny. ]

With this many cameras, they'll be sure to get all our good angles, don't you think?

Introduction

[ some time after everyone's settled in, a melody filters through the air, inviting but mysterious. following the tune will lead you to luka, who's made himself at home at the piano, his fingers gliding across the keys.

he'll give a nod to anyone who enters, continuing the song to completion unless interrupted. ]

intoduction

[He's going to drift towards where a new melody is sifting through the air, because of course he is. When he enters, he offers a lifting brow and a smile, but he won't interrupt the piece.

He'll stand and appreciate, listening to the notes float over him, until he's done.]

[ with a nod and a smile luka continues, finishing out the piece with a last flourish of the keys. he turns to face his new company, head tilted, askew strands of blonde giving shade to his smile. ]

Well? What did you think?

[Verso of course offers applause; such a performance deserves it.]

It was beautiful, mon ami. Whimsical and... hopeful, I think. I didn't know we had such an array of musicians here.

[ he basks in the applause, much like a flower taking in the sun. ]

A house bereft of music isn't a home, is it? Though I'm better known for my singing than my play.

[ Oh there's the sort of pretty boy you don't see every day. Not that Serpilia doesn't know a few herself, but most of them have difficult personalities.

They'll get our bad ones too though, right? Let's hope that they show a little mercy on us.

[ he lets that sit for a moment and then winks, ostensibly a joke.

[ Confident if nothing else. It gets a smile out of Serpilia, but she'll have to see how much of that is a tease and how much of that is serious.

She'll play along for now though with a dramatic sigh. ]

Gosh if only it were that easy for all of us, but some of us are mere mortals, you know?

Even still, one should aim for the stars. I think that's how that old saying goes, at least.

[ ngl he thinks the halo is just a neat accessory or body modification.

[ he chuckles, his words spoken with considerably less cheer but in agreement nonetheless. ]

Naturally. When you're on the stage, you have to offer every part of yourself to the audience with the same amount of care.

[ hmmn, don't mind him raking her over with his eyes. ]

Are you used to performing, yourself?

[ She obligingly strikes a pose.

Not because she is a model, but because she has had to flash a little leg and bounce a little boob in demon negotiations and this is nothing too different from that. ]

Not in the sense that you'd find me on the stage all that often, but I think as a journalist, I'm pretty used to attention!

[ honestly, yeah. ]

A journalist? Maybe we'll be paired on that basis alone—I'm an idol.

[ he doesn't quite strike a pose like her, but he does adjust his posture to something a little more forward and center. ]

[ He's also been walking around idly taking note of all the cameras that he could spot, but it's not until he follows Luka's gaze that he spots a smaller one he'd almost missed. ]

I suppose that would be nice. [ Turning a little to give that sneaky camera a little wave. ] You sound pretty comfortable with it. Being seen by so many cameras.

I'm used to being on the stage, but this isn't my first TV show either.

[ his smile is confident, naturally. ]

I take it that it's yours?

That it would be. I've livestreamed plenty, but this feels more unfamiliar than I expected. It's one thing getting used to a single camera you operate, another to be filmed by so many cameras manned by strangers.

[ He's carrying himself confidently enough, but wow, he can't hold a candle to this guy. ]

I don't suppose you have any advice, as a veteran television star?

[Yi Sang cuts a rather less impressive figure, plainly dressed with a pair of sweats and shirt in his arms—the only belongings on his person. Blinking, he gazes out at the cameras.]

[ A musician, is he? At home with the various... "cameras" that capture their every movement as well -- Odile can't be bothered to worry about them herself, given her nature in the first place, but his a different sort of ease than that.

Nonetheless, she is here for music, and she will be enjoying it with a slim book in hand, taking a seat quietly and busying herself with that. Please, do not mind her until you do. She will have a comment once he is finished-- ]

I see your fingers give little trouble where your playing ability is concerned, despite their shade. Articulation would be a difficult loss for someone still young.
