okay! so one of the things about luka is that because he's spent literally his entire life as a pet/puppet in every sense, he's extremely passive in most aspects. however when he's on stage he has quite the domineering/commanding personality to the point where he openly (and happily) goads and pushes his fellow contestants until he makes them crash out on stage.
soooooo- AYTO wasn't quite the same stage, but certain types of interactions def put him in that mood. kind of like a cat that caught sight of a bird. given how makoto was in their first interaction, being shy, flailing, and all of that, activated luka's instincts hard. which is to say he really wanted to squish him like a bug because yeah
YEAH!!! normal things!!!!
then we have spin the bottle in which that interaction was also weird, but mainly because luka is pretty big on fulfilling what's asked of him-- spin the bottle is absolutely just a silly game but to luka where these games literally dictate life/death its not-- and as noted above he's very obedient in certain areas. so! it was kind of annoying that makoto wouldnt play, but it was more important to luka that he completed the game. which landed on maya which REALLY AFFECTED HIS ENTIRE ASS GAME TRAJECTORY WHEEZES
luka isnt someone who believes in fate/luck so he has no room in his brain to be like "oh the reason I hit it off with maya is bc of makoto" so lmfao f.
fast forward to talking head #2 and luka tells wwx that hes interested in maya. and wwx is like ohhh but you have competition! and luke is like, yeah obviously aventurine, who else? and wwx just outs makotos crush there and luka is like

so from then on he was on his shitlist because luka is a yan + he didnt consider him serious competition due to their interactions thus far. luka was mostly watching aventurine in week 2 but hey that worked out! until match ceremony 2.. or rather the after of match ceremony 2.
so luka didnt care about the non-match, in fact he figured that they werent a match, he just wanted to be extra + sing to maya because its the best way he expresses himself. since his actual words are awkward. so he did that and he didnt feel like it helped at all? (maybe slow your roll luka) so hes chewing on that and then he sees makoto being extremely obvious with maya with the hand holding and

i seriously debated for a while if he would do anything there including be extremely obvious or just Luka Sees This. but in the end hes the type of danger where you wont get a warning, so he didnt. he was still upset by it though and because emotionally hes a child in many ways, he was still probably gonna crash out. which at that point honestly had a good chance of being a stabbing? and when he took maya off to talk to her during the group discussion his initial question was going to be: who do you like better, makoto or me? + calling makoto out for being obvious in liking her. but he changed his mind the literal last second (like because of her last response to him) so he asked something else instead. and thats how we avoided the biggest crash out just bc things fell that way....
jumping around in chronology a bit but-- luka is extremely isolated but hes also someone who doesnt let people in, so while he could see makoto trying to care (re: ghosties) he just dismissed it bc hes broken in a bazillion ways :(.
week 3!!!! luka was doing his best to steer clear of makoto bc he didnt trust himself plus he had an Agenda for that week so he was busy. after his bbr thread he was pretty centered and no longer at a risk of going yan, so yay!
week 4-- i think luka didnt mind the records store date, it was kind of interesting actually. but he was still confused in the back of his head bc hes just like: you do know I was one second away from stabbing you, right? and ofc makoto doesnt know (no one knows and to luka its a wrinkle that hes not going to think about ever again) so... YEAH!
basically im sorry that this cr was shaped so much by luka being emotionally 12 but i did enjoy it! he'll probably be more normal whenever they meet up for world traveling but just know the yan is Always There

probably makes sense given that if you lose in ALNST you literally die. so hes someone who wants to win at any cost, less for the sake of just Winning but more because he's programmed to be that way. he's also someone who won't turn down a challenge when he's in his Performer mode, so that's how their intense kiss happened day 1 fjdkjfldsj

so it's funny, seeing shoko comment that she would have fooled around early because luka would have too. its why he asked her about her willingness to go into the bbr in their first thread. even if he was couching it as a medical thing, it really wasn't for that at all, he was trying to gauge if her interest was anywhere near that area. what could have been!
luka did luka things so it was a while until they really chatted again, but his opinion of her went way up because she didn't react as strongly as everyone else did to the horrors of Alien Stage. even if she was still like "what" sometimes, it wasn't as loud or as forceful as others, which led luka to feeling like he could talk a bit more casually with her. and because of that, he is fond of her! again idk if he would call her a friend because he's luka, but she's def in the small circle of what he would call positive cr for the game.
as you can probably tell given his ask of her on the epilogue :O. that's not something he'd ask anyone and tbh, it's because of his relationship with her that he feels like he can--bc if he wasn't comfortable with her he just. would pledge to endure with his stacking heart conditions which would probably give him a heart attack one day and that's not fair to maya! (he knows maya is a healer but he's a little dumb like a cat who doesn't show theyre sick until they keel over)
he also wants to support her just in general, which is why he tried to be his version of helpful when she talked to him about the whole corpse thing. he'll be the last person to judge anyone when it comes to taboos but even if he was, his biases. as for the future, if she wants to text him he'd stay in touch! (he sucks at outreach sorry, he's still luka)

i love that their cr really got started because of both of them being non-picks in match ceremony 1. really, even before he grew to like her, luka would have thought other people would have been unpicked instead of her.
but! luka is a professional so ofc he took that with as much grace as he could. and after it was nice to vibe with a similar feeling of those kids who never get picked for volleyball
bc of this he was willing to be a bit more open with her than he would normally, and their cr kind of rolled along that way. she was someone luka didnt think too hard around and since he is biased, he was rooting for her to play spoiler to furina and ringo
which is why he asked her if her joining them was what she wanted bc if it was him he'd have picked his favorite and tossed the other aside! lol... but that apparently was what she wanted, so luka was glad to see her happy
as luka didnt really hold much feelings towards the cast in general (bc hes luka, yall are rockstars), messmer + odile being like PICK ME for the last booth, really meant nothing at all. he threw his vote in early and never thought anything of it.

their first thread with luka insulting her was so funny bc he legit wasn't trying to. luka can and is very arrogant when it comes to specific topics and fashion is absolutely one of them. but truly if he wanted to be a jerk from the start he would have made it clearer, but its all well and good since he really doesnt know how to People so lmfao.
really his thoughts were as shallow as: if youre trying to attract a mate why would you present anything else but your best??? SIMPLE GUY LOGIC!!!!
when they fell into general antag cr he was comfortable with that. its probably his most familiar type of relationships with people so it was ez and in a way, a nice break from everyone else trying to be nice to him (lol). he was tempted to escalate the cr to be more negative because luka in that mode is always trying to dominate people, but he managed to mostly be behaved bc he did realize there wasnt super a point
also he was very committed to maya bc he has 1 braincell and he didnt want to fuck that up so obviously even to him
when they got into how Bizarre he was and also different from everyone else, this didnt change much for him really because he doesnt want pity. to luka it doesnt matter, this is who he is, its who he will be, and thats fine!

its funny because when i think back to their first thread that when off the rails so quickly, because they are both the type to push and so it just kept going. luka def had intentions to see how far she would go in this thread (he would have also slept with her if that was possible/she wanted!) but he kind of lost himself when the wisteria came in. it really was a pleasant form of escape for him, someone who gets so little of that (even though he needs it badly). when she asked him for a wish he did answer honestly which is...he just doesnt want to be so lonely. plz....
all that aside, he was surprised that she named him as a potential for truth booth with her. not bc he thought they were a match, but that she remembered enough to pick him! it legit made him happy. he figured they werent a match but as hes here to put on a show, that was fine too. and then they were very normal in that thread and very normal in the truth booth lol
because of all of the week 1 stuff he just wound up feeling very comfy with her...he could be more of All of Himself with her so that just kind of fell into place. i think he did notice that she started to dote on him but obviously he liked the attention/affection even if it was entirely platonic on his end too. she won him over completely when she called him her friend which was the simplest gesture in the world but...hes never really had friends before. so it meant a whole lot.
he didnt know what he could do for her in return besides offer her his energy (which she shot down after the first time) but he had intended to be more clear with yi sang but that obviously got derailed. he both gets and doesnt get why she likes him.

so i think thread 1 happened the way it did because it was thread 1, which is to say luka was in the most performance mode he would be in during his time on ayto. he also didn't really know what to expect coming in, so peak "Ruler of My Heart" mindset, which is why he decided pretty immediately that he wanted to strangle yi sang lol
for luka, the talk of how passive yi sang was reminded him of himself, more so bc of his mindset above. i do think luka is really aware of how he comes off, including how he goes along with everything heperu asks of him. i also think luka knows hes lonely too but its something he's long accepted because even hyuna left him. to have that in his mind, thrown back in his face just made him violent because. yeah he Sees. though part of it was also bc he wondered if he could push yi sang to have a reaction bc that'd be fun
but that interaction stuck with him in his mind somewhere, though he didn't consider it again for match purposes until the end of week 2. maybe bc some small part of him bought into that the matches would be in some way complimentary/positive (even if he never believed maya was his match).
from the beginning of week 3 onward, even if luka had personal doubts that edamura/rom were a match (bc it seemed too convenient???) he knew that if that assumption held true, and his match was a guy, then it had to be yi sang. bc edamura and yi sang were the only guys he felt anything towards even if that was to SQUISH THEM (tbh he vibed with verso in a diff way but since he was spoken for he could disregard that).
initially i dont think lukas intention was to get yi sang to pick him at the ceremony so much as luka just wanting to look like he's helping (for maya), but that changed once they started to talk. luka is someone who's never picked! his entire life! despite having 9999999 fans, but on a personal level... no one ever likes him for who he is and if they do, they don't like him enough to pick him when it matters (see hyuna). as much as luka is used to it, it still eats at him because deep down he's still a little boy who wants to be good and wanted and loved.
so... WOOF was their convo bad for him. it reaffirmed how alone he is the world, it reaffirmed that even in diff universes people will treat him the same way, and if he wasn't trying to behave he really would have gotten mucho violent. because that's his version of begging, in a way. and while I can see why yi sang offered to include luka on his conversation with odile, that was just another slap to his dignity. luka didnt take it as (youre including me) but that (youre bringing me along so I can beg to her too). which fuck that noise. as much as him bringing them up was for logical reasons, it quickly turned into an emotional one because again luka felt discarded and unwanted.
their cr was irrecoverable at that point because yi sang had his choice in odile and thus luka made his choice in writing yi sang off forever. id need to math lady if theres a reunion post if luka would just pretend he doesnt exist or something else... im not sure yet.
oh! bc you mentioned it in your commentary, I dont think luka ever looked as yi sang growing a spine/opinion as growth bc of what he said. he never looked at him pushing in that way + pushing at luka just makes him back harder... ORZ.
i think luka still wants to hurt yi sang deeply and if he wasnt going to be using all his brain cells learning how to be a house husband, he'd probably devote them there tbh. yi sang doesnt deserve this!!!

tbh luka really didnt have any opinion either way until their date--her keeping him very on track was Noted and while he didn't really mind he was like Hm
...and then match ceremony pre pick discussion happened which yeeted her into negative category solely because catching strays with yi sangs everything. he really didnt put much logic into here other than that it was clear to him that she was pushing yi sang into picking her and not for logical reasons. luka's pretty simple emotionally when he feels anything so its not much deeper than that for better or worse :crymeow:

oh one final note, its not something luka would ever really confront odile with himself unless he felt like it worked out in his favor to do so. so theres that!?!?
he did debate bringing it up with his talk with yi sang in week 4, like just dragging her about how she guilted him bc she was a lonely old crone etc and i had a tag written of just that
but in the end i backspaced it bc it wasnt worth getting into it for him in the sense where he wasnt that invested + he was being very mindful to try to behave bc he knew maya would get mad at him if he did something like that

well their first conversation was luka just doing his stage persona thing to the 9999th degree. prim and proper and just what his father would expect!
and then their second conversation... lol. luka not being picked at the ceremony is both what luka expects but is also bad for him mentally because it further increases his feelings of extreme isolation. so when wwx seemed to poke fun at that immediately after, yeah that made it worse.
though luka immediately figured he could try to use that in his favor to get something from wwx. idk what he would have asked for in another universe, but he was more than happy to trade it for a guaranteed date location given his Maya feelings. the weird look he gave wwx during that convo was bc of his yan coming into effect re: aventurine. they also talked about his uh, insane world view this thread and wwx gets to be only 1 of 2 people that knows his brand exists!
..its not something hes eager to show off tbh but he didnt mind here because he felt like the convo would go circular otherwise. luka did in some way clock that wwx had good intentions but he was also at a point where he wasnt willing to accept them + didnt understand why he was being offered them
regardless! luka didnt mind talking to wwx though he never really understood what he was going for with him. he doesnt need the support like the other contestants in going for it (he needs therapy), but its fine! i think his opinion on him is just neutral somewhere, hes def had worse interviews

i've said in other comments but both oocly and icly me and luka weren't expecting him to get a ship! me oocly because looks at the Everything he is, like yeah he's pretty and talented but that comes with enough baggage to sink the titanic. luka on the other hand has never had a romantic bend even if you consider hyuna—his relationship with her kind of just happened and after it fell apart, he kind of bundled it up in a box he keeps tight against his heart where he feels it always, but never looks at it.
luka really was coming in here for more media + pr-- not only for himself but also for ALNST in general! like yeah there are "free" humans here but even that is beneficial for the human trade in ALNST bc look at the diversity and diff kinds of humans there are! buy them now! closes my eyes. anyway, so luka's goal really was just to make sure he had a presence which both comes extremely natural to him and is also what he's good at. he's also no stranger to being sexual/sensual thanks to his father (seriously just look at him in Blink Gone he knows exactly what he's doing), so if this was a show that involved sexual tension, luka was sure he could slay! his intentions after were to do more PR and enter ALNST 50 (current canon) and although yeah he knew about the wish thing he never gave it any real thought because anything he earns is property of his father, not him. it's just basic reality and wwx asked luka early on what he'd use the wish for, and even putting heperu aside??? theres nothing he wanted. he wouldnt wish to see hyuna again because of his pride which is probably the only want he had so... yeah.
overall this round had people were in a whole earnest, heartfelt and genuine even if they couldn't express it right from the start, or at the least had those who could make some type of connection with others (simple if not deep). it's such a bad match for him as someone who's spent his entire life suppressing what it means to be human as a form of survival, along with the futility of making connections in a world where humans are pets/objects. so with that background in mind, here we go pt 2...
their first thread! week 1 was pretty much luka in Stage mode always.
he flirts in their thread because as maya herself put it, luka was flirting with everyone (minus poppy)! which wasn't a diss on maya he was just Playing the game. looking back though, she did manage to get him more as himself with the kick ass comment even if it was briefly. this is more because "kick ass" is something he associates with Hyuna so it's very clear in his mind! but also he knows his body is uh. held together by bubblegum and alien prayers. which while it's something he doesn't advertise, he IS aware of! also his answer to "I'd rather just have you sing a song you like!" was his way of answering "I don't have a song I like" question. lukas impression of her after this thread was pmuch nothing special--though he did think it was unlikely that his version of seduction would be particularly effective with her. he has confidence in himself always but considering the ease with which she batted away his flirting + in general her candor, he figured there were better fish to pursue for the sake of TV.
enter thread two--which happened entirely by coincidence bc of edamura. he was also a bit more aggressive in the kiss than even he'd normally be, because he was frustrated by edamura not playing and aggression is how luka vents a lot of his emotions bc lol ;;. but! she didn't take it poorly all things considered and it's not like he was even going for the romantic angle in it, so he was happy to talk (bitch) about edamura, yay! which led to hand holding which, while not particularly deep, is something he genuinely likes which are pretty rare. if he was a normal guy the thought that she was being considerate (maybe flirting?) to him with the keeping warmth comment would have Registered in some way, but instead it just kind of threw him off (not in a bad way!) because uh. no one shows concern for him ever? and while people did here (and had before this!) it was more direct and hers was... hmm. it felt like it kind of just happened so he didn't feel the need to push back against it. it just was/was simple! he offers her his shoulder to slump dramatically against after, something he likely would have done anyway but he did it with some actual Whisper of a want here because of the handholding/general thread tempo.
as i mentioned in plurk, she then proceeds to entirely throw him for real with the "I exist" comment. it's just something so incredibly bold and framed in a certain way that he def got hit with shades and vibrations of hyuna so he laughed. legitimately laughed and then decided he was interested in pursing her (for show purposes!) simply because she was more fun than he had realized. he's in a good mood now, so he's more playful/teasing which leads us down the dolphin to him falling head over heels for her in a few comments. he did very briefly consider if letting her pet him was a good idea but as luka is someone who craves affection/love at his core...he couldn't say no. plus its not like he had even asked her? (he would have never) and once that happened it was done because now he actually had a crush on her which is something that has happened once in his life up until this point and aaaaaa. tbh he would have kept her there for as long as he could but he pulls back first only because he realizes he is no longer in control of his heartbeat which is a DEFCON1 moment as that's something he's been trained to do/forced to do that the fact that's he Not is a Big Deal. and yeah the "I like your interviews" was confession #1 fdlfjks
their talk on the truth booth picking is funny because he's still Processing that and again while he would have asked her on a date anyway...he did it more casually because of everything that's happened so far. how much feelings were involved here im not sure, but it was more than the 0% it was for everyone else. double this when he gives her the flower because he would have gone with a more suave line but the real reason he did was because yeah. he just wanted to give it to her! from him to her and it is very simple but it is real. and then he asks and she agrees to pet his hair again and he sinks even further, aware of it even more now. theres another small doki here that she didnt just do what he asked, she made him say please-- luka is someone who will always push in some way and he's a power bottom what can I say, yeah. one general trend i want to point out is that as soon as she started to get to the real him in the spin the bottle thread, you can notice how he relaxes in his speech with "okays" and stuff. because thats real luka speaking, not idol luka!
match ceremony 1 here we goooo aka luka rubberbanding from being in a great place to a poor one because he's aware of how alien (lol) he is compared to everyone else. he's less sulking and more deciding that the stupid chatter after isn't worth his time, and as an introvert being away from people helps! ngl though, he was pleased that maya came to see him...but bc he was very much in a place where he felt extremely alone he didn't reach out to her in the way he (wanted to) and this is him sulking here. but he does eventually come around to talk to her because it IS what he wants and as she affirmed she wanted to, why not! she passes a pretty significant check in this thread with the god comment-- actually in a way, luka does see himself as a god/savior. is a direct line from his song "Ruler of My Heart" which he wrote to Hyuna. but he seems himself that way bc of heperu, not because he actually wants to be that. so while it wouldnt have changed him liking her, the fact that she said she didn't was a point in his (good/pos) affection towards her.
with that in mind he mentions to wwx that he is interested in 1 person during their interview which is. something hes not sure he wants to admit himself (because it is a real interest and not one for the show), but he does so, yeah. he requests an aquarium date for them because of all the dolphin talk! and he goes into this date with the general thought of being more open but not with any grand plans in mind. he asks her if she likes it because he honestly doesnt know if she does-- not bc he wanted credit for doing something just for her. he has a crush yeah but hes also aware to some extent that its rooted in some way to how he misses hyuna, so its a very much Wait and See approach that. does not last long at all because she kisses his hand back
a hand kiss means nothing to him but the fact its from her and the fact that one again she does it without him prompting entirely seals the deal for him. thats why he blushes and shows her what his expressions really look like because shes gotten there and shes in his heart now. and because hes in actual luka mode (and bc he has a sense for these kind of things), he confesses to her pt 2!!!! in a way even she cant mistake. their date is pretty adorable and he does make a note to push less hard than he normally would... like he wanted to kiss her on the lips here but he doesnt because she asked him to wait, and its not like she dropped his hand so...he can be patient! he can be a good boy (maybe). this is also where penguin courtships gets entirely cemented into his vernacular because as someone who knows NOTHING about romance.... clearly maya must be telling him this because its helpful/its what she wants!!!!
so then the hyuna thread happens which despite being very hyuna centric, is what pulls him away from just projecting the old love of his life onto her and fully seeing maya as just maya. by this point hes talked to a few people about being a pet-human and they've all been "wtf" or been angry for him. neither of those responses work for him, so the fact that she acknowledged that she didnt like it but also didnt think it was fair to force him to face it... really meant so much. this was when his affections turned into more than infatuation because... even hyuna couldnt do this for him. him and hyuna were at odds with their view on their life: hyuna wanted to escape/fight back and luka didnt see the point in it. but here was someone who was willing to Hear him out and just let him process it and that means more than luka could put into words.
fast forward to truth booth talk and this is the first time his yan rears its head because ...he doesnt want to lose her. he does think her and aventurine are a match and he doesnt think hes her match but who cares about that, he has shots to take!
relevant to the next thread but also in general: the only reason he doesnt fumble this going forward is because of her, because he starts to mirror how she comforted him because he has no idea how this is supposed to work. the most he would get on his own is to hold her close, but because they went back and forth when he spoke of hyuna, he knows to do this for her here in the rager thread! i forgot to mention it in other threads but also for now and the future, thats probably his usual perfume regardless but now hes def not changing it ever since she liked it.
all in all tho ig the pattern repeats itself where luka goes into the match ceremony in a great mood but then almost crashes out...f djskljfs. so the reason he wasnt really around on the rager was bc he was writing + practicing the song he sang to maya during picks. originally i had picked out a song with a more manic/obsessive tone... but as we wrapped rager thread i realized that he had shifted to feeling more secure with her.
which is why the main thing he wanted to get across with that song was that he wanted to be better for her. they didnt really talk about it (maybe they will one day!) but luka has committed murder either directly or indirectly with some degree of accident involved. luka even to this day, would not hesitate to kill anyone...EXCEPT for her. because he thinks that she'd be disappointed in him/not want him to do that even if he personally doesn't really get it. so him saying this is a big deal because hes like: if you let me in I'll try to be a better person for you. not that the him then was bad but...she makes him want to be better and to Feel more than just cruelly and logically survive.
it was definitely too much admittedly, but luka is too much! still, he cant help himself. he noticed it didnt quite land (or rather that she needed to process) so he was legit down about that because singing is the ONE thing he does well and if that didn't work... yeah. THEN his mood gets even worse because he sees how smitten edamura is with her when he wont let go of her hand first (plus WWX told him about this!) and he nearly crashes out. i mentioned it in meta but luka is emotionally impulsive which is always present in his threads despite how even he might come off most of the time.
he asks her question one because he wants to make sure he still has a shot and the second question...he originally wanted to ask her if she liked anyone as much as him/liked him more than edamura. hes feeling very anxious for all of the above reasons but when she offers to go talk to him now (because he was willing to wait and Stew
i mean plot murder) that helps him a lot. so instead of asking her that and outing edamura's crush he goes the spite route (if that guy isnt gonna admit it himself im not doing his job for him), and instead just kind of flops miserably on the ground. he doesnt mind waiting but he takes competition/jealously very badly and hes dying squirtle. but hearing that its not his fault (he doesnt fully buy this but he does buy that he still has a shot!) helps, which means hes able to get out what the heart of his issue is: she makes him happy but he doesnt feel like hes helping her as much. this is super important to luka as hes someone who has a desire to serve (ironically)/provide despite how domineering he can be. but they basically talk it out, so its okay!no stabbyshh not me needing to make this a 2/2
bbr.... i knew he was going to ask this week but i wasnt sure WHEN he was going to ask but with the very real possibility that theyd vote maya and aventurine off, that pretty much pushed luka into ok i want time with maya privately if shes going to be gone. very dramatically but very luka. but also he had said he wanted to talk more about the heperu/pet stuff, so its not like he did it entirely for selfish reasons. he was nervous going into this thread which was a first! bc he doesnt get nervous except here. he was nervous because the 2 conflicts inside of him was his desire to be with her and also his desire to not disappoint his father couldnt coexist. plus... he wasnt sure if she would accept his feelings (him) fully. if she HAD turned him down/said they should just be friends, that wouldnt have moved his actual romantic feelings one bit, but it would have meant that he would have gone back to Alien Stage. but now instead of him kissing one poster of a girl in his room, hed have 2 posters of girls hed kiss every night before he slept and every morning. luka is fully delusional in his love and post week 2 there was no way of shaking that. all that being said...she did accept him fully here! and he didnt really comprehend it at first because even he thought he pushed too far... he had been holding back from bolder affections because of her asking him to wait at the aquarium but he was losing that battle. but its like him to push too far, except he for once got the answer he wanted????? i cant overstate his happiness here, hes literally never been this happy in his entire life. and then they banged because yeah luka wanted to show her what he thought of her and hes better expressing himself in certain ways but also....because yeah hed been holding back for like 2 weeks now and hes still a Guy and Maya is gorgeous and hes a boob guy so he almost expired during the beach thread
even though she told him that shed ask him again when he wasnt so emotional, lukas mind was made up. hed go back with her and not go back to his father, he just needed to process that himself. so off they go!!! for luka to become #1 house husband and also figure out how to be human, he guesses? i dont want to look at how long this is but wheezes. she really is perfect for him, better than his actual love interest in canon because shes patient with him in a way that hyuna isnt. i still feel like she deserves better! but luka is going to try his hardest and study up and eventually succeed in at least the skill end bc he learns non emotional things quickly! luka probably feels like hes spoiled every day simply getting to see her let alone anything else but he is absolutely a good morning good night ritual guy that includes kisses and cuddles when they sleep to the extreme.
and unless things change drastically? his yandere side is probably put to sleep tbh because she taught him that he doesnt need to act out to express himself/get what he wants. he can just be himself and somehow even through the awkward stumbles that netted him the most eligible bacholorette?***
