No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

I don't mind going in, but we've talked about the high probability of Nico and Verso for two weeks now, and I'd sort of rather we have that set in stone one way or another. If we're positive on it and it turns out we're wrong, that won't bode too well this weekend.

I'm in agreement with Amano-san. Building assumptions on top of assumptions is dangerous -- it might be best to make a confirmation we're on the right line of thought before we continue.

Right. If we have a confirmation one way or another, we have a more solid path to follow.

. . . if they are wrong, then maybe Aventurine should pick you again at the ceremony, too? That might be another good way to test whether you guys are a pair or not. Whether we get another light from you guys standing together or not.

The choice will have to be Aventurine's, in the end, but I guess what comes first is figuring out who's even going in.

He's got this terrible habit that makes me want to shake him, but thankfully, Nico's probably really good at getting through to him. And we've got some similarities I can't really deny, either. He's a lot of fun and exciting but also a sap when you dig deep enough.
