No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

Well... we definitely can't repeat what happened last weekend, so I'd say now's definitely the time to be looking for that "spark" with everyone else... like Edamura put it.

Certainly. We've gathered plenty of data, and with this additional hint... I believe it shouldn't be terribly difficult to narrow things down in some way.

Yeah, the trick's figuring out one of the two remaining pairs from week one with the Truth Booth, and then narrowing down as many possibilities as possible this week with the Match Ceremony.

We're looking at, hm...

... Narrowing down the female-female matches might be the way to go first. We've already got one crossed off the potentials list with Poppy and Shoko.

Yingying and Maya are both considerations of mine in that case, moreso the first. I can see both of them as capable companions for myself.

[ Yes, a huge difference than the first week, don't mind it. Even knowing... no, especially knowing Yingying's plight, actually, it changes naught. ]

Of course, there are those I've yet to better know yet that may present themselves as viable too -- Poppy and Serpilia, for example. I'll have a better idea of my possibilities in the nearer future.

That's beside the point! I think it's obvious by now that some people here are being drawn in directions opposed to their "perfect match." It's not a bad thing, it's just something to keep in mind.

Rom basically ragdolls when he feels the yank and permits all the arm-slinging and noogie-ing Edamura wants. Just give him a second once he's let go to pop his hat off where he's been smushed down on his head. ]

I agree. It feels like we tried going by ... [ feelings ] intuition in the previous round. This feels like as good a time to switch tactics as any. Matters of the heart can be dealt with separately, while we approach the game from a more strategic angle.
