[ Indirect kiss... A thing Poppy is not thinking about, because. Because. The promise of deep-fried goodies.

I want to savour every minute with you is enough to pull her away from the allure of things they definitely should not be eating, though. Poppy's jaw just kind of drops, staring at Yingying rather than their treats getting prepared. ]

Oh, um... Well then, we'll just have to make this the best date ever, won't we!

[ Yeah! So when their sugary monstrosities are ready, Poppy will help Yingying collect them. ]

What we should do is spread these throughout the day, so we only go into a sugar coma when we're back at the house. [ Nodding from experience, probably. ] So we'll start with these, maybe do a ride... and then come back for more.

[ Beaming. Also gesturing for Yingying to take a bite out of the Oreo, since that's the one she singled out first, and she knows it's going to be soooo good. And seeing someone else try one for the first time? Might be kind of amazing, too. ]

[ She is nodding back, because clearly Poppy knows what she is talking about. Besides... at least Yingying won't have to worry about a, as she called it, "sugar coma!!" She'll be ready to take care of Poppy, if it comes to that.

Quickly, she follows her instructions to take a bite of the fried oreo too, blowing on it a little beforehand to make sure it's not too hot — a habit and pantomime of an action she doesn't really need to do, but goes through the motions of doing, anyway. Soon as her teeth sink into it, her eyes light up. ]

Oh! It's soft, like cake, [ She says around the tiny bite she took, chewing thoughtfully, the cookie softened inside the batter by hot oil. Truthfully, her sense of taste is rather dulled, given that the form standing in front of Poppy isn't even... physical, in a sense, but she can still discern major flavors and textures. After swallowing: ] I thought it might be crunchy...

[ She is. Cupping her hand underneath the oreo and lifting in Poppy's direction, very obviously offering her a bite. Yes, you'll be getting this indirect kiss and have the privilege of being fed by Yingying at the same time, Poppy. ]

Here, have some. Say ah...

[ It's kind of cute, the way she blows on the Oreo first, even though she really doesn't need to. Yingying is impossibly gorgeous, but also, like... just cute? Especially with the way her eyes light up after.

And Poppy's own eyes light up at the promise of said beautiful, cute woman offering her one of the best forms of food out there. ]

Aaaahh...

[ She takes a very demure bite, mindful of where it's coming from. It feels a little goofy, literally eating out of Yingying's hand like this, but... still cute, right? Of course it is.

And then it hits her and oh, yeah. Her eyes are lighting up too, though she knew what to expect. ]

It's sooo good, isn't it! [ Offering the cheesecake up to Yingying now. ] C'mon, you gotta try this one too.

[ POPPY IS SO CUTE.... FALLS TO KNEES

Yingying is thinking the same thing, watching Poppy eat out of her hand (literally). She might feel a little goofy doing it, but Yingying is shameless as she leans forward to take a bite of the fried cheesecake out of Poppy's hand, daintily cupping a hand under her own chin to catch any errant crumbs. ]

Mm, it's good... I like this one better... ~

[ Aren't you going to feed her more Poppy... 🥺 ]

[ Oh... she's doing it too. They're literally eating out of each other's hands... It's adorable? And also confidence boosting, in a way? Even if Poppy can't help the small blush gracing her cheeks.

But she can power through it with the promise of more fried food — and apparently, getting to share the joy of it. ]

You knoooow, [ just drawing the word out, an attempt at being sly, ] I've had it before, so you could totally finish the whole thing... and I can finish off the Oreo.

[ Continuing to offer her hand to Yingying, like. Maybe. Maybe she should just offer the actual deep-fried cheesecake itself, but if this is working... ]
