[ The scolding gets a pretty loud laugh out of Serpilia as she finally settles on a simple shirt for the first part of her outfit for Furina. And yet only one of them is doing a BBR thread right now.

She won't focus on it too much for now, even if her image if Cat makes it funnier than Furina realizes. ]

Most people have had more questions about the Sankta bits than me, so I guess it's been easy to fall into a pattern of talking about that. Even in other countries where I'm from, I don't think a lot of people understand us Sankta well.

[ She's quiet for just a moment as she starts looking through the available bottoms (joke not intended, but it is there), but pipes up before the lull in the conversation makes Furina feel she needs to ask more questions about her people. ]

You know, I don't think I've ever had a relationship serious enough to know what I really want out of one. I mean I know for sure what I don't want now after some of them, but a long list of negatives probably isn't that encouraging for most people to hear.

[STOP TORTURING THE AVAILABLE BOTTOM or Serpilia will really have hell to pay when she gets her very own BBR thread.]

Sorry. I was distracted by the same thing, and so I stumbled into the very same trap. [Even becoming enamored with her wings, as much as it had gived Serpilia a chance to tease her, might have kept her from opening up with something else about herself.

Even before Serpilia moves the subject, asking more about the Sankta is the last thing on her mind now.]

It's hard to even begin wrapping my head around the idea of someone mistreating you. [Not just because Serpilia probably wouldn't stand for that, either.] Even if you don't think it's very encouraging, you should still speak freely about it if you want.

Some interesting looking leggings are grabbed as Serpilia moves out from behind the racks now, making her way over to the shoes. ]

Haha, well I wouldn't say I was mistreated or anything. I don't think most breakups are that dramatic.

[ Some are though. Some people are shit, but Serpilia's managed to avoid any truly terrible men and women even if she's made some kind of shallow choices that fizzled out fast in the past. ]

Haha, right...most of the time, people just drift apart or don't work out for each other.

[The truly explosive breakups might make for more engaging stories, but that kind of heartbreak is thankfully more common on the screen or stage than it is in people's lives. Not that she would know much about either, only really aware of the interpersonal snags that came up on the trial stage at the Opera Epiclese.

She's pulled two hangers and seems to be rocking back and forth between one and the other, mulling over her decision in true Libra fashion.]

Maybe I should have you try both of these on... Ahem. And have you found my company engaging enough to do a fitting with more than one costume?

[Yes, she did have to ask the question this way, couched in her showmanship.]

[ Not an explosion, but a pathetic whimper. Kind of dissatisfying all around, but maybe better that way regardless.

She squats down by the shoes near the floor, getting a better look at the boots there. ]

For you? I'll dress up in as many as you want to put me in.

[ Elegant or lightly soft punky boot wise hmm choices. ]

It's not often I have anyone who even wants to pick out things for me.

[Although... since Serpilia is the type to rig her belongings to explode if someone tampers with them, maybe an intense and bombastic whirlwind love affair is what someone would expect when they first meet her?

Furina imagines, just from the way she kisses, that she can be passionate... but maybe feelings have never factored in so much. The innocuous "for you?" makes her flush in a way that she's glad is hidden behind the clothing racks.]

We do have the entire store to ourselves for the entire afternoon... That gives us plenty of time. Who knows when either of us will have such an opportunity, in such company, with this little to worry about? When it comes to shopping, I can go just a smidge overboard...

[So she often doesn't have people shopping with and picking outfits out for her, either, generally. From the sounds of things, she's definitely plucking up a few options for every piece of the outfit she's going to give Serpilia to try.]

[ She's wondering how if she should start looking for secondary outfits for Furina as well? Might as well finish completing the first one though, and then she can hit that up next. After some deliberation she grabs the fancier looking shoes.

The boots will come later with whatever she picks for fit number two. ]

If they're going to let us have free rein here, I think you should go as overboard as you want.

[ She is going to squeeze every last penny out of them after the sent her and Luka to Taco Bell. This is her revenge. ]

So just because you're looking for me, don't stop yourself from tucking away an item or two for yourself too.

Hm... first and foremost, this is about our outing together, but... Don't mind if I do, hehe.

[Her task is clear to her, and that task is to make sure that she picks out an outfit and a style to suit Serpilia. Once that work is done, however, she'll be free to have a little fun with it.

By the time she's finished, Furina is rather laden down with her choices. She emerges from the side of the store where she'd last picked up her final few accessories.]

All right, then, this should be everything! Do you care more for blue or for pink?

[ Cute little goof.

Not that Serpilia isn't thinking of maybe snagging a thing or two for herself before they leave. She did see some stuff while looking for Furina that caught her eye. ]

Both colors look pretty good on me, so I don't know if I really care for one more than the other...

[ Blue hair but pink halo and wings. Hard choices really, but given who she's with today... ]

A bold choice from the demoiselle. [There's a nice vacant chair by the dressing room unto which Furina tosses all of the pinker choices. It's a bit careless, but at least she's not being completely disrespectful, just...shortsighted.]

May I present to you... your first selection! [She holds it up, though let's pretend the fascinator is an accessory, like a clip-in, that actually suits the halo on Serpilia's head.] I also picked up this!

Now... which of us should go first?

[ There's some theatrics in it that makes it all a little fun, but Furina seems great at fun theatrics. Serpilia moves to look at what Furina picked out for her with a soft "ooh" as she reaches down to touch the sleeve of the shirt. It's definitely out of her wheelhouse, but she's excited to try it on.

In turn she'll hold up a simple (if not slightly revealing) top with some plain black jeans, and equally simple shoes. A lot less flash than Furina's choices, but Serpilia's always been more of a clean lines kind of gal. ]

It's just the two of us in here right, as long as the camera crew don't try to take a peek, I don't see why both of us can't go at the same time?

[Just the two of them... Furina muses on this as she rubs her fingers against the very buttery fabric of the crop top; such a pretty blue.]

Oh, they surely know better than to try any unprofessional shenanigans like that on us!

[Besides, they'll still have some kind of microphone in with them to pick up any latent sounds...something Furina doesn't think to warn her about because, if there's any teasing or suggestiveness in Serpilia's voice, she hasn't quite registered it yet. It's not a bad idea, after all.]

Mm, that works. It'll save us any unexpected trouble with fixtures that might arise. [Furina won't have any trouble with a crop top and plain pants, but her usual many layers always take a bit, and we'll just pretend that something she picked up for Serpilia has some buttoning down the back of it.]

[ It's not like Serpilia isn't aware the whole place is mic'd up, or that there are cameras literally everywhere except the changing room in order to get the most footage out of them that they can.

She knows how to be quiet though if she needs to be. ]

Mmhm. Your style is definitely fancier than mine, so I might need a little help here.

[Why would you need to be quiet in the dressing room, huh, Serpilia? :hm: emoji.]

To have and to share alike, right? I won't leave you high and dry.

[Furina hesitates with her arms full of all of the things she's already picked out for Serpilia to try first, then trots back to the chair where she deposited all of the extras (and all of the pink stuff). It won't hurt to add one more. After all, how much time can they really spend in there? Then she peels back the dressing room door-curtain to allow Serpilia to enter before her, gentlemanly to the end...even if she does kind of bump into her in her eagerness to follow.]

With a look like this, layering is essential, so you can pick one piece you want and then build out from there.

[ The whole act is very cute, from the picking up a pile of clothing she can barely hold, to letting Serpilia go first, to still running into her in her eager haste.

Serpilia will reach past her to grab onto the edge of the curtains and give the camera a cheeky smile, before forcefully pulling the curtain shut. ]

Am I picking, or can I leave it to your expert hand to pick for me?

[Furina isn't besties with fashion designers like some people, even if she now has the social connection to said designers. Serpilia can't blame her for being eager and a little excited ...and a little curious, in a very respectful way, about sharing this close proximity. At least she's not bullying the camera crew.

Now, indecisiveness is a killer, but Furina takes this one in stride, smiling proudly. She's ready to take charge! A little.]

Why don't we begin with the brocade? Start with the most showstopping piece and work our way around it? [She holds up the very striking and embellished waistcoat.]

Brocade it is! I'll definitely be needing help with this in that case though.

[ And as she says it, Serpilia is already moving to grab the end of her tanktop and pull it up over her waist. She'll need a much nicer shirt than this to go with that waistcoat.

That she's taking her time taking off her shirt to reveal a little bit of skin at a time is a coincidence, and Furina shouldn't worry about it. ]

Certainly! [At first, she stays all business, assuming the help might be best applied to what shirt to pair with the brocade waistcoat.] Because the pattern is so distinctive, simplicity will bring it out more... I like this one, with the detailing... on the...sleeves...

[If she's trailing off, it's because she's gotten slightly distracted by the definitely intentional way that Serpilia is pulling off her shirt. She needs help? With a simple jersey like that?]

Mm...careful you don't get tangled. [The mic clips are close to wireless, but they are a bit unwieldy.]

[ Furina has really thought this all through. Makes sense for someone who wears so many fancy layers to have a good idea of what goes well together. Serpilia's layering system trends towards a lack of patterns that means things can be piled up on top without too much worry about clash, but she's interested to see how it'll look on her to get a little snazzier with her outfit.

Though she'll need to get out of her current one first. The intangible wings aren't a problem, and the halo rarely is, but that mic clip does catch on something. ]
