Serpilia and Shoko are taken to a rooftop pool and bar. It's late at night, the view is great, and they're given bathing suits to change into as well.

Highlights

It's a hot night, and not just because of the two ladies. Perfect for a swim!
The bartender is a great one, charismatic but not chatty, pretty but not too pretty, etc.
There's some food available as well. Tapas!

[ Yeah, they're definitely the two hottest people at this bar. Shoko can't help but live a little dangerously, leaning against the glass guardrail that surrounds the rooftop. ]

Hoh... Have you ever been to a place like this, Serpilia? It's so ritzy~

[ Serpilia is showing a little less skin herself, but the fit is comfy, and that's always been her priority. Besides, who could compete with a woman like Shoko anyway?

She will, at least, look (semi)respectfully as she leans her back against the rail next to Shoko, her "wings" hovering on the other side of the rail in mid-air. ]

No chance I could afford to go somewhere this nice. There's nothing like this in Laterano, and I don't have the money to travel to places that have swanky setups like this.

[ Shoko similarly glances sidelong at her date with a (semi)respectful gaze. Serpilia's swimsuit... suits her, Shoko thinks. She doesn't need to wear something revealing to be attractive, especially when her more unique features are already so eye-catching. ]

That just means we have to make sure we take full advantage of tonight, since we're not the ones paying, hm? Starting with buying overpriced drinks?

[ To that end, she offers Serpilia her arm so they can head over to the bar. ]

[ Which she will gladly take with a small laugh. It's not often that she gets escorted like this, even if it's just for the short walk over to the bar. ]

You seem like the expert in this. What would be good and sweet, but also cost a lot of money?

[ And it's not often that Shoko gets to escort a pretty angel lady like this, so they're both winners here. ]

Sweet? [ She shakes her head. ] You lost me there, honestly. But I bet we can find something pricy on the menu for your sweet tooth. Some kind of craft cocktail, for sure.

[ As they arrive at the bar, they're greeted by the pretty and friendly bartender, who hands them menus. Sure enough, there are some pricy craft cocktails on there with lots of fruity and/or floral flavors. ]

Anything catching your eye?

How about... this one here?

[ She taps on the menu at [ITEM NAME LISTED HERE I GOT LAZY AFTER FIVE MINUTES OF TRYING TO LOOK UP EXPENSIVE COCKTAILS] which seems to have practically every fruit known to man tossed into it alongside the liquor. It's sure to rival the size of those massive margaritas you can get at some casual dining places. ]

[ YOU'RE SO REAL FOR THAT... Shoko orders an espresso martini for her own part, and the bartender gets to work right away. ]

I wonder if the bartender will do any fancy tricks. I think that's supposed to happen at fancy bars like this.

[ Sure enough, they do just that as they work on Serpilia's drink first, tossing and twirling bottles here and there, pouring so many different things into the shaker........

...only to pour her drink into such a glass so small and so full of ice that this the price truly feels like highway robbery. ]

...Geh.

[ Serpilia is ready to be SO IMPRESSED by this, leaning forward on the bar counter as she watches the spinning, wondering just how much she's getting here, and then--

Oh... ]

... It's a good thing we're not paying for these, huh?

You know what that means, right?

[ Shoko gets her espresso martini next, which she holds up at Serpilia so they can toast. ]

We'll have to order a lot more drinks tonight~

[ Serpilia offers a curious hum for a second as she moves to pick up her disappointingly small drink, lifting it up to clink it lightly against the side of Shoko's glass, before breaking into a grin at the conclusion her date draws. ]

I think you might be right about that.

[ As she takes her first sip, Shoko has to admit to herself that, at least, the drink was very well-made. ]

Mm. That's good. How's yours? Does it taste expensive, at least?

[ Give her a second to take a sip of her own drink. One sip, and then... !

Her expression lights up, and she's quickly drinking the rest that's in this small glass. This kind of thing could very quickly get dangerous. ]

I'm not sure about expensive, but it was fantastic!

[ The way her expression lights up is charming... Shoko subtly gestures at the bartender to get another drink on deck. ]

No kidding. You downed it like a champ, Serpilia.

[ Absolutely no judgment here because look at her.. her own martini wasn't quite so tiny, but she's still making good (?) progress on it. ]

Shall we grab a spot at on those fancy-looking lounging chairs while? I'm sure Bartender-san won't mind bringing your next drink over.

If I'm being honest, it's because it didn't even taste like alcohol.

[ She's not sure she could have tossed it back like that if it did.

But if they're already being bad like this... ]

If you could just go ahead and bring me a couple actually, that would be great.

[ And the attractive, but not threateningly attractive bartender doesn't seem to mind the request. ]

Ehh? That's so disappointing. You weren't meaning to get mostly juice this time, either.

[ but yes... LET'S BE BAD!! Shoko offers her arm once more so they can head over to the very shallow end of the pool where the lounge chairs are. ]

You know... now that I'm next to them, these chairs don't look all that comfortable...?

[ They are definitely sacrificing ergonomics for style here, but... She'll set her martini on the little table thing and lower herself into one of the chairs. ]

I'm not complaining that I did though.

[ Taking Shoko's arm with a little extra flourish just for the fun of it, before walking over with her to the chairs, where she will let go to go nudge at one with her knee. Watching Shoko bravely take the first sit to test them out. ]

How is it? Better than it looks?

[ She lays down, and... hm. Adjusts herself a little. And then again, before finally just... settling. ]

...It's kind of awkward. But I guess the point of these chairs is to look good in them...?

[ She can imagine people just wanting to lay here for the photo opportunities, or something. ]

[ Serpilia hums thoughtfully for a second, before a small grin curls up the corners of her mouth. ]

If they're that uncomfortable, mind if I try something bold to make my seat a little better?

[ She quirks a brow at that, tipping her head to one side curiously. ]

Hmm? Go for it. I couldn't say no to a bold move from you, Serpilia.

[ oh ]

In that case.

[ Don't mind her as she moves to the side of the chair Shoko is sitting on, and very carefully and gently lowers herself down onto the woman's lap. ]

[ (calmly) Whoa, hey. ]

...You're right. This is a way better seat for you, isn't it?

[ She'll just go ahed and rest her hand on Serpilia's hip, then. ]

[ She is more than welcome to, given Serpilia started all of this. ]

Much, much better.

And how's the view, from where you are? Hm, it would be hard to beat mine, though.

You sure? Because I think mine is pretty incredible.

[ There's a teasing, almost singsong lilt to her voice, but before the flirting can amp up too much more, the bartender comes over with the drinks. ]

Oh! Thanks!

[ Which Serpilia will take with a lot of care to make sure she doesn't drop any on Shoko. ]
