[ Yingying tends to use her charms as a measuring stick for everything — those that are capable of maneuvering around it, pushing or flirting back, or deflecting are usually the types with more walls up regarding their emotions. Verso is like that, and Aventurine, too. Compared to Yi Sang or Furina, both seem very adamant about keeping their hearts behind lock and key, and probably for good reason.
Especially given all the hardship Verso had spoken about, all his brushes with death. She can't imagine it's easy to open up to anyone, with that on his shoulders. She's the same way, after all. ]
Alright — but be sure to treat me properly! [ So, yes. She will pencil him down for a date. ] What kind of dates do you like, Verso? Just wondering...
[Under lock and key, under a variety of masks, and for what he deems to be good reason. He's very certain that if someone should properly open him up, it simply wouldn't be fair to those around him — he has too many burdens that should remain his own. Too much guilt, now, too. And most of all, he's just so tired.
And yet Verso still desires the human connection that's so freely given here. He isn't immune to it; he had bonded so closely and quickly with his last Expedition. It had been nice to just be with people.
That's why, despite his baggage, he'll happily spend more time with Yingying, even if he suspects this woman could tear all those shields down if she really tried, and still look sweet doing it.]
Outdoors, with a lovely view. [he can't quash the artist in him] Or... maybe, indoors. With good music.
[ Unsurprisingly. Admiring flowers and the stars are among Yingying's favorite things to do, too. Her eyes slip closed, and her smile turns wistful, as if reminiscing about a sight just like it in her past. ]
I like those sorts of things too — but most of all, I like places that are lively, with lots of people. Somewhere exciting, with lots to do! [ It's hard for her to imagine examples outside of what she knows, given the era she's come from — but she's sure more exist in this strange, modern age. ] Like festivals. You know?
[Places with lots of people. It's been a long time since he's surrounded himself with crowds, but he's sure he can fall into rusty habits easily enough, like slipping on an old coat. Lumière used to be bustling before the Fracture.]
A music festival! An art festival, maybe. Or... hm. [Nature. Nature...] A fancy garden party.
[That's not quite a festival, but it harkens back to his old hoity-toity origins.]

[He will not wear his Expeditioner outfit everywhere, thank goodness.]
And yes. It will be. I look forward it.
