Ringo really liked Edamura from day one because Ringo likes humanity!! And Edamura was incredibly human. Perhaps one of the most human people here, and that made him a good guy in her book. She's kind of easy that way. She was an AI created to save humanity, after all.
Of course, he was also kind of shady, which was something that made her like him even more, even tho it took some time for that side of him to come out. Ringo's crew is shady, as you well know, so those are the sorts of people she feels most comfortable around! She honestly didn't peg him for that sort until pretty late on, because she bought into his wide-eyed "looking for pure love" facade he was trying to sell everyone (and himself). Because of that, it took time for the rest to sink in, which is a shame bc she would've just liked him even faster, even more.
But it's fine, because she still did, and they bonded nonetheless.
Teasing him still felt very much like being around her crew in the best of ways. His reactions reminded her of Arrow, which she liked because Arrow is the most earnest of her crew, which meant that she felt like she could trust Edamura about the things that mattered. And it turned out... she could! He truly did want the best for everyone on the show.
She started pushing pretty hard for him and Rom as soon as she saw something there. She actually saw it on Rom's side first, and started pushing for it even before she knew it was mutual. She just... really wanted both of them to be happy, and it felt like they were both holding back. So imagine her relief when Edamura also seemed very receptive to Rom, and then their romance blossomed. Whew! She really dodged a bullet there! If he hadn't been interested, she would've been doing some oopsies.
But point is! She's happy for him, and happy for Rom. She knows she can trust someone as earnest as Edamura with Rom's heart, and she knows that the reverse is also true. They compliment each other well, and that's what matters. She likes Edamura a lot, considers him a good friend, and wants to be there for him when he needs a shoulder or someone to talk to or a JRPG protagonist to have beers with.
