I feel like Shoko and Ringo vibes from day one, honestly. They were both here for a vacation and to have a good time. They'd both gone through the Horrors and now had come out the other side. And for that reason, I feel like they tended to keep things pretty light between them. The kissing, the games, the dates--they always just were kind of vibing.

And that worked for them! Ringo realized pretty early on that Shoko's been through it and also is the coolest person ever. She vibes with people like Shoko easily, because her crew is also kind of Like This--they've been through it, they've come out the other side, and now they're just making the best of what they've got left. Shoko is admittedly more fun than any of Ringo's crew, though.

ANYWAY even with all of that said, there was a definite spark there for Ringo! Shoko was a damn good kisser, was self-assured and able to show Ringo a good time, and those were all things Ringo was drawn to. But I think Shoko needed someone who could bring more normalcy to her life than Ringo could, and once Ringo realized how well things were going for Shoko and Poppy, she was honestly overjoyed. Those were her friends! Her buddies! Living life and enjoying themselves! As far as she was concerned, that was a perfect outcome, regardless of the math of the show.

SO YEAH!!! Ringo definitely vibes with Shoko so well and she'd show up in a heartbeat to help out if things got hairy again in jjk-world. She's here for you, Shoko, they are Friends now and Ringo is ride or die for her friends.
