God. Yi Sang was probably the person Ringo had the hardest time getting a read on in this game. She could not tell what his deal was. Him and Luka, man... confusing. Of course it ended up the way it did with the matches. She should've figured it out from that alone--

But. Anyway!

From the start, Yi Sang was a bit of an anomaly. He truly felt like he just accidentally showed up and felt too awkward to leave. She couldn't tell if he really wanted to be there, or if he just couldn't find an escape route. And as someone who only just was able to live life for the first time, she didn't really get it. There are so many experiences she's excited to have, and he didn't really seem excited for anything.

Which! Is why she got so excited when he finally started to show his opinions! When he started to care about things! It was all she could've asked for, and Ringo was delighted to start to see it.

I think to some extent, she was aware she wasn't really the right person to nudge him along on that path. Yingying was much better at it, and Ringo was just too... aggressively Ringo to be very helpful.

But! She was rooting for him from afar this whole time!! Even if to the very end she really never came to understand him. It's fine, probably. She still likes him anyway.
