OOOHHH RINGO WAS ROOTING FOR POPPY SOOO HAAAARD.
To Ringo, Poppy was everything she was created to protect--humanity at its best and most normal, a human just trying to make the most of things and living life as best she could. Poppy was the brave one, putting herself out there like this. Poppy was the one who has to contend with so much just to get to this point. So. Ringo was in her corner from the start, really, just for that alone.
Of course, she also came to like Poppy as a person really, really quickly! Poppy is the likeable sort, and on top of that, they do have some things in common--enough so that Ringo did consider that they could've been a match solely because of the programmer-AI connection. But in the end, what Ringo wanted for Poppy the most was happiness and that love connection, and Ringo's personality and life were a bit too fantastical for that to make sense to her.
So! As Poppy started to get brave and branch out, Ringo was so ready to be a wingwoman for her in every single way. She was here to support her! She was 150% in Poppy's corner!! Hilariously, she didn't really need to; Poppy had it covered herself. By the time Ringo realized there was something there between Poppy and Shoko, it had already pretty much happened.

BUT YEAH BASICALLY... FRIENDSHIP!!! RINGO LOVES POPPY (PLATONIC)!!! She'll absolutely stay in touch and absolutely help Poppy make a contract with a demon. Good idea? Absolutely. What could go wrong.
