i have returned a month later for yaps

i appear when you least expect it

ANYWAY, ROMMMMM!!

Ringo sincerely liked Rom from the start, honestly. She loves con man type personalities; he reminded her of her crew back home from the start, especially Saizo. And the thing about Mr. Saizo Soul Hackers is that he's the one who's most flippant about his feelings, emotions and attachments, and yet she learned quickly that he was also the one who felt the strongest about all of them. Saizo is a soft boy, and she rapidly began to suspect that Rom was similar.

Of course, she couldn't just overlay someone from back home over top Rom and expect it to go well. She had to get to know him better!

And as she got to know him, she realized how much of a softie he was. He was playing a role that was expected of him because he was on TV, or something like that; it wasn't something she personally understood, but she felt like it was both a very human thing to do, and also a very selfless one. He was willing to be whatever the show needed him to be, even if it meant not putting his own desires first.

She also thought it was a very stupid option, which is why she wanted to go on that date and talk some sense into him. The show didn't need their help, after all. Its ratings were none of their concern. What they needed to do was follow their hearts and have fun and find something they wanted--love, or the wish, or just something worth being there for.

She fiddled with the math a little when they had that talk. Like, nothing she told him was a lie, but she excluded a couple of things just because she was so confident he and Edamura had something. There were a few options that were equally viable iirc, and she kind of shoved those under the rug while they were chatting. Ringo's a little bit of a chaos gremlin when she wants something, and numbers seemed to be the way to convince Rom, so numbers were what she used to do it. [misinformation dolphin sticker]

Anyway, all of that aside, she was sincere happy for him when he and Edamura finally took those steps together! He deserved that happiness, and they were good for each other. They saw things in each other that most people didn't and wouldn't, after all, and that makes for a solid bond no matter what might come.

SO ALL OF THAT SAID, overall, Ringo really liked Rom! He was one of her favorite people on the show, and she's rooting for his happiness. She will gladly be his bodyguard on his travel show or show up to be on his streams, because he is her Buddy.
