HOLDS OUT MY PAWS...have i shared the story yet about how i quit playing star rail a few months after it came out and then i had a dream that i pulled for aventurine and so i picked it back up...hoyoverse hacked into my brain to plant the brainrot...i've been wanting to play him in a game since then and i'm SO GLAD the stars finally aligned to do so. these past four weeks have been such a delight to thread with everyone and build some of the most delightful and unexpected cr!!! i love you ayto, thank you for playing with me and my nth pathetic wet hoyo man. until the next one!!!

I only knew very little about aventurine from fandom osmosis (the worst way to learn about a little guy period, as we well know) SO I LOVED GETTING TO PLAY WITH YOURS... WHAT A FUNKY LITTLE DUDE. JUST DOING HIS BEST, MAYBE. It was so fun to see him slowly start to open up over the course of four weeks, trying to figure out the matches, balancing his gambling tendencies with wanting everyone to get their wish... it was all just so good. fistclench.

I LOVED OUR CR AS I ALWAYS DOOOO they just had such good energy together. Ringo was rooting for him the whole way for all of his romantic endeavors. FRIENDSHIP!!!

i did not know much about aventurine outside of just knowing what he looks like, bc sadly im doopid and i used to get him and kaveh mixed up all the time SDKFSJDFK BUT NOW I KNOW!! HIS SAD LORE!!!! my poor aventurine.... i had fun watching him slowly open up and become soft to the other characters despite his best efforts to remain DISTANT and MYSTERIOUS!!

as ever you do great playing characters with a certain kind of bravado/charm with hidden tragic sides... i think you do an amazing job making these types still feel really sincere and heartfelt, so u cant help but love them yk. i really enjoyed our cr and the similar beats these two shared!! and of course as ever you are just a super fun person to share a game with who i am ALWAYS looking forward to tagging and stuff. heh

Bayleaf I fucking loved Aventurine so much that I almost want to play HSR just for him. I WILL NOT B/C HOYO CAN'T DO THIS TO ME AGAIN (I'm a recovering Genshin) BUT IT IS SOOOO TEMPTING. I really enjoyed the layers to his character! The way he was a blonde asshole who treated the premise of the game so flippantly, and yet wound up falling deeply in love with someone along the way. HE LOST HIS BET TO HIMSELF IN THE BEST OF WAYS AND IT WAS SOOOO CUTE. . . his CR with Edamura was also fucking amazing, I love it when Edamura finds people who ping him as conman/swindlers and finds comfort in their familiarity, even though he won't say it. I'm really happy they had this cute push and pull where they didn't really talk about what they were, but they just! Knew! Based on how they interacted!! Edamura WILL be calling Aventurine in on a job sometime, I promise. In canon he never gets to play boss but THIS TIME THINGS WILL BE DIFFERENT.

And you! Are always such a solid player! I'm always so delighted when our RP streams cross b/c I always come out of it with great CR! I love the color your bring to your characters and hope that we can play together again sometime ;w; THANK YOU FOR BRINGING YOUR HOYO MAN TO THIS GAME HE TRULY WAS GREAT

I'm so glad you got the chance to give your sad lil man a nice run!!! I'm admittedly pretty canon-blind about Aventurine (I lazily play HSR a bit but don't pay attention to the story, tehe pero) but this truly felt like the perfect place for him to shine, what with all the general melancholy and sentimental vibes! It was so nice getting to see him slowly open up and forge connections and FALL IN LOVE!!!! despite his initial reservations ...

He and Nico truly made for the cutest pair, and I'll be rooting for the both of them to be happy! In the meantime thanks for bringing your lad to this round, and I'm looking forward to whenever our paths next cross! ❤️

BAYLEAF... you made me care about a hoyo so much... my sweet, sad Aventurine who deserved everything he got here (NICE THINGS!!)... I'm so glad you got the chance to play him, he was an absolutely delightful addition. He won over Poppy so quickly from being a suss-looking pretty boy to joining her on her anti-Brad crusade, thank you for indulging me there as they both inadvertently embarked on a successful quest to acquire... friends

Seriously, I adored him so much, and you did such a good job balancing his forward-facing persona with everything hidden underneath, especially as the latter started to get revealed! He felt different and yet the same by the end of the game which I feel can be really hard to pull off, since there's all that character development within a short period of time but like, it's still the same character at heart... and what a big heart he has, bless him with Nico, they were so cute.

All of the Bayleaf CR I've gotten has been intriguing in its own way but this was a real favourite, just, the coming together, the real friendship formed after a rocky first meeting! Aaahh I can't wait to see what's next but I'll always remember this fondly, Aventurine is easily my favourite HSR thanks to you!!
