Tonight, they're back at the courtyard for the fourth and final time. Nothing has changed too drastically decor wise, there are still lanterns abound and a table full of food and drink. There is also now a third couch near the special couches for Messmer and Odile, if they so choose to sit there. But again, you do you! Wei Wuxian is certainly not going to stop you.

Speaking of that guy, he's here and dressed to impress again. He's looking snazzy. He's waiting for everyone to arrive, watching as they do and grinning broadly all the while. Then when everyone arrives, he clears his throat and begins to speak.

"You all have achieved three of the eight lights you need to win the game. With the match of Messmer and Odile, you only have to light up five lights tonight to succeed. Let's hope you pick right, huh?"

But he has complete faith in everyone! So, let's get this show on the road.

"Team Wangji, you're up."

It can be said that every individual here possesses some degree of the "hot" attribute; however, the warmth that originates such intensity is unique to the player.

Upon reflection, I have no memory of engaging in a game of this nature afore. Thus, I would like to do so with my fellows.

How about Poppy?

Miss Poppy . . . is reminiscent of a bonfire, fit to sear and leave her mark, yet capable of warming those in need of it. On a scale of how this appeals to the senses, I would count her as comfortably "hot."

That is an incredibly Yi Sang-y answer of you to give.

[ It's hard to tell if she means that as a compliment or not. ]

Alright then. How about... Edamura?

[ Let's give Yi Sang a chance to respond since Edamura judged Yi Sang not hot. ]

[Her comment pleases him. He looks pleased.]

Edamura is a kindling. Though reticent, the red lanterns that become of twigs are still a source of warmth that, with proper encouragement, can grow into something more. As such, he is pleasantly "hot."

Kindling instead of a bonfire, huh?

[ Poppy is more forceful than Edamura, though she's not sure if that's what Yi Sang means or not. These are fascinating, so she's gotta ask. ]

Though the color might suggest a cooler nature through another set of lenses, it is the product of efficient combustion that maximizes the release of energy—and, therefore, "hot" in its nimbleness.

[ She's teasing, but she does look curious about his take on her. Efficient combustion and nimbleness. Sounds like maybe he's got some respect for her capabilities when he puts it that way. ]

Ah . . . the answer to that question is one I have yet to ponder. That is . . . rather than a source, perhaps it would be apt to say that one who stands in a light shower of rain feels keenly the calefaction of the sun in the aftermath.
