Wei Wuxian is here, still looking happy after his absence this week, and he is dressed to impress in NOT a hanfu this time, but a modern look. He's liking it, honestly. Look at him sparkle!

"Congratulations, my friends! You are once again free from a blackout and losing a wish as you found a perfect match at yesterday's truth booth. Good job!" Wei Wuxian explains, twirling his flute in his fingers as per usual. "You might still get no lights again otherwise but, uh, let's hope not! I believe in you!"

Either way, he bounces on his feet and calls out, "Team Suibian, it's time to make your picks!" Looks like we're ready to go.

It would make a lot of sense, though it still leaves us having to figure out who Odile's match is.

Of course. [ Uh, waves hand vaguely at the conversations taking place above and below, time is malleable, etc. ] ... perhaps Lord Messmer is a possibility, given the opinions voiced thus far.

I guess we'd have to ask the two of them how likely they think their match would be then.

[ She doesn't have a good read on Odile's preferences at all, so she'll leave it up to the lady herself to decide. ]

Certainly. Even if we're only trying to abide by the game's rules, it does feel like personal preferences and opinion need to be given fair consideration, given our confirmed pairings so far ...

[ Pause. A little more brightly: ] But it feels like we're making progress now, doesn't it? Not a bad feeling.

We definitely got more this time than last time, so it feels like being on the right track.

Unlikely, but not impossible. In the lower digits, by Ringo's standards.

[ But if production thought it might be interesting to pair them like that, well. That might be why. There's things they agree on and... things that they don't... she cannot extend a hand to someone who doesn't see it in the first place, kind of thing... ]

There are simply others who I would feel be more feasible, though with numbers as they are cannot be possible. I am perfectly fine with all else being figured out and whoever is leftover beside me will be a most intriguing study on production's thoughts.

This is all really hypothetical, but if it ends up actually being me and Messmer, what do you think about your chances with Shoko or Poppy then?

[ Because it this particular scenario that Serpilia is laying out, it can't be Odile and Yingying, given that would leave Shoko and Poppy, and the know it's not them.

And really... the question should be what does she think of her chances with Poppy, because if it IS Seripilia and Messmer, then Poppy and Yingying is also out. ]

Poppy was one I considered due to her resemblance to a far younger companion of mine, whom I get along well with to the point of having an "alliance" when it comes to the important matters of direction-taking and foodstuffs.

[ And it's notable she does speak quite fondly of this individual. ]

Her and Boniface would get along splendidly, no doubt. They would be quite interested in her games... though I admit, that is as far as it goes. Shoko and I get along well, and I can speak easily with her about that which weighs on my mind, but I had set her aside while thinking of possible matches for other reasons.
