However, he can't answer her question to Poppy in full confidence. And so, to Poppy:]

[ A beat. The robots are taking one another's blows like champs, though. There's nothing that could indicate they're feeling pain, as far as she can tell, which is admittedly not the most far.

[ It's hard to say from beings that aren't designed to have facial expressions. Then again, they're also not usually designed to have nerve endings, so they're probably in the clear on this one.

She does frown a little at Yi Sang's choice of words, not sure how to feel about that, but she doesn't comment on it right now. ]

It doesn't seem like they're distressed, but I admit I'm not that well versed at reading robots.

[A robot is repelled by its opponent mid kick and all but flops onto the floor face-first. The crowd goes wild while one of the operators at the edge of the ring stomps a foot in frustration.]
