[ Who doesn't love a cute oversized sweater? This pumpkin setup was meant for this!

... Admittedly Serpilia is a jacket girl, so she's in one of those, but Poppy in a sweater is cute. Poppy's attempt to flirt is cute too, though Serpilia is conflicted on how to take it after... well with all the Shoko stuff. She'll still smile at the compliment, moving to walk shoulder to shoulder with Poppy so she can nudge her playfully. ]

You're right. We both are.

[ But she is moving along for cider. ]

[ The thing is, Serpilia looks super cute in a jacket. And she's just. Powering through after the Shoko stuff.

Laughs a little at the nudge, swaying with it. ]

Well, if you say so.

[ But she's grinning at her. A beat, as they wait in the brief line. ]

I, uh... probably am more likely to be matched with one of the guys though. Statistically.

[ Serpilia is thoughtfully quiet about that as she considers things, looking down the length of the line. Her best guesses has her paired off with a woman, and if she's right about that, Poppy might very well end up with one of the guys in turn.

A thoughtful smile tugs down the corner of her mouth. ]

We've got some pretty decent guys here, so that's not such a bad thing.

[ She'll turn to look at Poppy again, letting her face settle back into her usual smile. ]

But sounds like maybe you're holding out hope that isn't the case? Your shot is still fifty-fifty from what we've been told.

[ As long as Serpilia is smiling, then Poppy can keep hers up, too. ]

Well, there's only four women I can still be matched with compared to all of the guys, so...

[ She fiddles with the hem of her sleeves a little. ]

But, uh... I never actually thought about being with a woman before? Not until a couple of weeks ago. And, I dunno... it just kind of started seeming like... a nice idea...?

[ Serpilia's smile is gentle and encouraging. ]

I mean, objectively speaking we're better, right?

[ There's a little tease in her voice, even if she knows what Poppy means. Serpilia's always liked boys and girls, though her shortest lived of her (admittedly mostly short lived) relationships have been with guys. ]

[ Skipping right over the tease: ] Oh, no, we're definitely better.

[ Some of the guys they're sharing the house with are cool, but pretty much every girl is a winner. Or at the very least normal, which, by Poppy's standards since coming on this show, extremely makes them a winner. ]

I guess I just never really thought about it before? [ Oh when you live in a heteronormative society but have no game of your own, so you just put yourself in the category you think you're supposed to be in... ] But it's been really nice, realizing you guys were like. An option.
