No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.
Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.
Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.
"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"
Better go see what that's about, huh?

It's tempting to shove you in there, though.
[ She wouldn't
would she? ]

... Ieiri-sensei.
[ yes, sensei. ]
I believe you're too kind and dutiful to do something so heartless.
no subject
Oh?
[ She reaches over......
and ruffles his hair. ]
I'll let you off the hook, since you're being so respectful. Just pay attention to how you're feeling, alright?
no subject
Haha, thank you, I will.
[ Maybe it's a little bit genuine when he gives a small sigh, looking back over the rest of the spring. ]
Truth be told, I'm a terrible fit for events like this, and would have sat it out if I had the choice ... but it looks like everyone else is having a good time, so I suppose it's worth it. I hope you're also getting some much-deserved relaxation?

Why do you say that you're a terrible fit? You seem to be doing fine just like this.

I'm a little too shy about fanservice events like this. The production must be grateful that there are so many other good sports willing to cover for me, like yourself.

[ She supposes that's what this boils down to in the end. To Shoko, it truly is an all-inclusive ryokan experience, however, so she just leans back and shrugs her shoulders. ]
I guess so. I forget they're around half the time, honestly. I hope you aren't letting them stop you from having a relaxing time for yourself, Shindou.

[ No he's not answering the question about himself. Don't worry about it. ]
It's a very gallant attitude. No wonder everyone's been falling for you, Ieiri-san.

Everyone? [ She chuckles at that. ] That's too flattering, Shindou. Anyway, aren't you a streamer? You should be more used to having cameras around. What's with that...?
[ No escape. ]
no subject
Haha. Maybe the fact that I'm a streamer is actually the problem here. [ Casting a sideways glance at the camera crew here. ] I'm always 'on' in front of the camera, after all. Whether it's shooting a promotion for new products, or recording my investigations, or producing content for monetization. It's difficult for me to set aside that work mindset, of needing to keep up an image. ... so I'm serious, you know. In admiring your mindset.

I'll take that as a compliment, then. I've never been the self-conscious type, obviously. I was the kind of person who would smoke shamelessly around adults when I was a teenager, you know.
[ a nostalgic little chuckle. ]
Still, it would be good if you could relax just a little bit at some point. Though if cameras are the problem, then there's only one place you could really escape them.
