No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

Better go see what that's about, huh?

[also. yeah. Edamura's intuition has been wrong on two proven occasions. and yet, he still abides by it! because it serves him well in non-romance scenarios and is actually pretty accurate!]

So I'd say my gut has a 99% success rate.

To be fair, I'm not sure the people who did the matching here necessarily did a great job of pairing people together based on that. Though I guess they did have a least one solid success.

[ She taps her finger against her chin considering. ]

Okay, we'll put "Edamura's gut instinct pair" as one of the solid possibilities for this week.

[ But it's mostly because the numbers do check out given how much things have been narrowed down between the two weeks. ]

I don't think Nico and Verso are a bad option, either. Just not the one I'd go with. But I think we get something from either pair, so I won't complain if it ends up being them.

Seems like we've at least for sure narrowed it down to two, and regardless of who we pick we'll probably get some good information out of it.

[ A pause, and a small laugh that trails off into a sigh. ]

Assuming we're right about it.

That's a big assumption, too. But I guess even if we're wrong, we'll still learn something.

Considering we already learned one lesson the hard way, I'd rather avoid a second one like that though. Easy would be preferred from this point on.

Yeah. . . but that goes without saying. Who wants to risk a bunch of. . . wishes. . . just for the sake of a challenge?

[sighs. he supposes he has come around to the idea of wishes]

[ She has to laugh a little at his hesitant pause. For a guy who didn't believe in a lot of what has been happening here at the start, he's come around pretty fast. ]

I know I sure wouldn't. I think if everyone here actually cared about who they determined our perfect matches were, it might be one thing, but I think people have worked out for themselves what they want regardless of that.
