No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

The beginning really is sad, though. I won't deny that. What did you think?

[He must pay attention to it. Also, it'll take him far too long to formulate a cohesive answer to her question for how quickly the plot is progressing.]

[ although she might fall asleep again at some point, and end up leaning over with her head coming to rest on Yi Sang's shoulder. ]

[He glances down at her when he feels her weight on his shoulder, blinking. Just as he opens his mouth to rouse her again, the movie kicks off—literally—with a flight of balloons. Distracted by the grand sight of the house soaring through the sky, he neglects to wake Shoko for a good chunk of the movie to follow.]

[ She'll come to wakefulness on her own, somewhere in the latter half of the movie... ]

Mmh..?

[ Though she'll apparently not correct herself for leaning and falling asleep on him. This is unexpectedly nice, after all. ]

Did you meet... the dog yet..?

[poans]

[If she wants to stay, he'll allow it.]

Mm. The explorer known as Muntz is on the hunt for the party, which includes Dug.

Oh, right, that guy...

[ She yawns... ]

If I fall asleep again, just wake me up when the movie finishes. I want to hear what you thought.

[poans]

Perhaps it would be for the best if you made yourself comfortable . . .

[This can't be comfortable for her neck.]

[ She cracks an eye open at him, though he probably can't see from the way they're positioned. ]

Alright, then.

[ So she drops a throw pillow into his lap and then her head on top of that. Thanks, bud!! ]

[He can't, which makes the sudden move all the more unexpected. Yi Sang stares down at Shoko in near disbelief . . . but ultimately decides to let her be in order to continue watching the movie as directed, keeping his hands out of her way.]

[ Yeah, she's out like a light. But somehow, she does manage to rouse herself again just as the credits start rolling, blinking sleepily up at him, checking to see if he's crying—. ]

[poans]

[He is not; however, he's staring long and hard at the credits as if deep in thought, so much so that it takes a moment for him to notice that Shoko has shifted. He blinks down at her, his expression nearly vacant.]

Have you roused from your slumber?

[irreversal]

Yeah.

[ She reaches up and just pats him on the cheek. ]

You okay?

[poans]

[His eyes flit between the hand and Shoko's approximate direction.]

I am always okay.

[Such is his baseline.]

[ His definition of 'okay' might be .... ]

...So, what did you think of the movie?

[poans]

It was not what I had expected.

[Talking animals and flying houses weren't on his mind when he was watching a couple grow old together. And . . . ]

You have seen the movie afore, Miss Shoko, have you not? What thoughts did you have then?

[irreversal]

Yeah. Well...

[ maybe she's still a little sleepy, or maybe she feels a little silly from having made Yi Sang watch this movie while she practically slept through all of it, but either way, she chuckles quietly, features relaxing into a smile. ]

...It's all about finding change in yourself and breaking down your walls, isn't it?

[poans]

[The sound and look both suit her. Knowing what he does, Shoko's shoulders often appear to be so burdened. A film that demonstrates change and freedom is therefore . . . ]

Truly, an ideal feature.

[irreversal]

[ Oh, good. He was able to grasp the meaning of the movie for himself, too. She pats his cheek again before letting her hand drop away. ]

Heh. You said your own name.

[poans]

[The comment elicits a stronger response, albeit inward, than the touch. It's rare for someone to humor him on this level, so he can't help himself.]

[ She pulls on his cheek this time. ]

I almost want to say you're having fun like this.

Nope, I'm choosing to believe you're having fun.

[ just let her have this... as her hand finally lets go of his face and she pulls herself upright and off his lap, stretching her arms. ]
