No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"

[ At some point as he sits there marinating all on his own, Serpilia will come to sit down next to him. ]

I know you're a quiet guy, but you know you can come hang out with the rest of us still, don't you? Even if you're just sort of vibing, you can at least do it close enough that we don't have to yell if we want to ask you a question.

[poans]

[While he accepts her presence with ease, her words give him pause as he lowers the card.]

Did you have a question for me, Miss Serpilia?

[ He takes everything so seriously, and it is a little charming sometimes, like a hound you pretend to throw a ball for and watch for the next five minutes as the poor thing desperately looks for an object you're just holding behind your back.

She'll show him the ball this time instead of keeping it hidden though. ]

Nope! It's just nice to have the option.

[poans]

[That's very kind.]

I see. Then I shall do as you suggest and join our fellows.

[And he gets up to do just that, making sure to hold the cards carefully so as not to drop them in the water as he relocates a little deeper.]

[nrangel]

[ Oops! She threw the ball too far, and now the dog is running off away from her to catch it.

Serpilia is scrambling to get back up and follow him. ]

I didn't mean you had to do it immediately.

[poans]

[He pauses. As it would be strange to backtrack now, he settles in his new spot to spare Serpilia the extra step.]

Apologies. Will this spot suffice?

[nrangel]

[ A little, but she's catching up to him, and reaching up to pat him on the back, a nice gross slap slap against his wet shirt. ]

I mean we're already partway there, we might as well go the rest of the way. I just didn't expect you to take my suggestion so quickly.

[poans]

[Then it's okay? He'll resume making his way over, though slower this time.]

I am curious to know which card belongs to whom, though I shall leave the sharing of answers to those who would volunteer them.

[nrangel]

[ Her little legs and the fact that percentage wise more of her is submerged than her appreciates that slow down. ]

Which one are you the most curious about?

[poans]

At this juncture, any will do. [He's not looking to pressure anyone.] Has aught caught your eye?

I kind of want to know who has been coloring their hair this whole time, but it's not like I've got to go prying into everyone's secrets or anything.

[ Says the girl that took a sniper shot right at Rom immediately after reading the cards. ]

[poans]

[A deeply uncomfortable feeling settles in his gut from the knowledge that he is fully aware of who, in fact, has been coloring their hair.]

Indeed, perhaps that would be for the best . . .

[nrangel]

[ Sorry, Yi Sang, because Serpilia is just going to blithely skip along. ]

If they volunteer it though that's another story. So which one is yours?

[poans]

[He pauses.]

T-that, I believe, is also better off forgotten.

[And it's back to their wading.]

[ A stutter, a lack of desire for her to know... after she'd just made a comment about which one she wanted to know the most... ]

Hold on a second.

[ She's grabbing onto his t-shirt to bring him up short, eyes narrowing a little as she tries to stand on her toes, eyes narrowed as she stares at his head, or more specifically... at the roots of his hair. ]

[poans]

[Yanked down to her level, he doesn't protest the pull, though he all but sputters at the suddenness of her action.]

Miss Serpilia, what . . .

[The roots of his hair are, indeed, black.]

[ Hm...

She lets him go, patting him on the back to encourage his wading forward once more. ]

Just wanted to check something.

[ Subtle. ]
