No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.
Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.
Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.
"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"
Better go see what that's about, huh?

third li'l thing
The present train hasn't stopped, but. This time. It is already set out and prepared for everyone -- "it" being a bunch of tea cups and a much larger mug for a certain ten foot friend, already steeped with a variety of teas along with ransom note-style cut outs of everyone's names and the type of tea they have.
Odile is not yelling and Rom may be uselessly hanging around with that ever-present owl look to him but whenever someone passes through-- ]
Sit and enjoy. We [ we who ] insist.
[ Do as she says, apparently. Odile has her own cup, and yes she's made some for Wei Wuxian too on the off chance he pops by. Tea time everyone. ]

Rooibos?
[oh!]
. . . hey, that's not a bad choice.
no subject
[ She's definitely not telling anyone that she picked these out specifically with each person in mind, and she's Very Carefully hiding her smile with a sip of her tea. If Rom says a word he's dead. ]
no subject
It's pretty thoughtful of you.
[looking over towards the LINGERING OWL MAN]
. . . the both of you?
no subject
Before Rom downplays himself, yes -- both of us. It was his idea to bring back more than what I wanted, in fact.
[ Not directly, but she can absolutely spin it as she pleases. ]
no subject
It wasn't ...
[ Sounding a little bemused by this. ]
I don't even like tea very much, Edamura-san. This was all Miss Odile's idea. All I did was carry them. She spent quite a bit of effort into choosing the teas, so I hope everyone will enjoy them.
no subject
If you hadn't handed me that basket, I wouldn't have thought to take more than what these frail arms of mine could carry. Sincerely. Don't be so modest about your part in this, Rom.
no subject
Then. I will take full credit for the noble task of carrying the basket for you, Miss Odile. An incredible job, if I say so myself.
no subject
I think she's bullying you.
no subject
Nooo, kindly, generous Miss Odile would never do something so callous!
no subject
I suppose your foot doesn't beg to differ?
no subject
[ Looking down, as if he just noticed. ]
Oh, that's just a little mistake. Nothing to worry about.
no subject
[just makes aggressive eye contact and takes a slow sip of his tea]
no subject
I get the feeling it's less that he helped and more that you dragged him into it.
no subject
[ And so he helped. ]
no subject
That's a very devious game of semantics you're playing, Odile.
no subject
You should learn from Rom, Edamura, and respect your elders a little better.
no subject
[a little grin]
no subject
Ah, this is . . .
no subject
[ Confirming, though she is... loathe to reveal her methods on why... So she merely glances aside. ]
... Well? Drink. It was made with the intention of being enjoy hot, not chilled.
no subject
Mmm . . . It is almost as I remember it.
no subject
[ Not so she can make it better next time or anything though. ]
no subject
[It's also likely to be a matter of idiosyncrasies in preparation, but the simple truth is that, for someone moved by sentimentality, the past won't be evoked down to the letter.]
