No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.

Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.

Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.

They come from capsule machines. You put in a coin, turn a knob, and then-- pop! One comes out.

Oh, so it's a surprise until you open it...

[ how fun and adorable. When she finally manages to get hers pried open, she lifts out the tiny tart and inspects it between two fingers, eyes curious and awed. ]

And what a cute cake it is. I've never seen this style before. It looks a bit like those... what are they called, "funnel cakes!" That I saw at the fair with Poppy and Nico.

Actually, a tart and a funnel cake are two completely different things. . . but they're both baked goods.

Do you like them? I feel like I've tried so many new desserts recently, it's hard to keep track of them all.

[alas, he can cook and make coffee, but baking is an entirely different beast]

They're sweet, but not overpoweringly so. The fruit is usually very refreshing, so it's a good summer treat. I wonder if Wei Wuxian could get us some tarts. . .
