No outright changes this week either. Week three rolls around, braced for impact as ever. The estate is still intact, the contestants are still motivated, things are looking good.
Well, aside from the fact you all had a blackout this weekend. That wasn't so good.
Either way, when Monday rolls around, Wei Wuxian seems to be in a cheery mood as he greets everyone Monday morning.
"Everyone, come here, come here. I have an announcement!"
Better go see what that's about, huh?

[With Furingo!]
So that means trying to knock out the same sex female matches, right? [Logically, anyway. Is that what she means by "understand?"] I wonder who else might be a good contender for that.

[Verso's getting it!]

If myself and Nico are a pair, then that would be one male-male, and one female-female. There's been talk of Maya and Aventurine being a potential match, too, and if that's true, we might have one in each category already...
[Belated realization-]
Which is still not as helpful as I'd like, actually.

[ Cutting down options seems easier to her... ]
I have faith we will solve it yet -- though perhaps...
[ ... A shake of her head. ]
Nevermind. I'm sure we'll all have thoughts closer to the end of the week of how best to approach this too; if nothing else, this group has been rather cooperative in that way.
no subject
Yes, we have. Cooperative enough that if you have any lingering thoughts, you can share them if you like.
[ma'am?]

[ Not getting shit out of her right now. ]
no subject
...All right. Just don't keep it to yourself on account of believing any of us would be critical of it, either way.
[Not that this has ever been an issue, but. It needs to be said.]
no subject
[ No, Odile is certain that even if it isn't well-received, it would be considered as a viable thought process. Just... not for the right reasons... ]
no subject
All right. No one's going to pressure you, either way. I've certainly learned that here.
no subject
I would hardly mind a little more pressuring, truthfully. But thank you.
no subject
Oh, but if it's time you need, we're patient. I think we all trust you to say what you need when you choose to.

Let's take a look at what we've got left for the female-female pairs, for instance.
We've got Maya, Yingying, Shoko, Poppy, Odile and Serpilia left. Six people, fifteen combinations.
Shoko and Poppy can't be a match though. So for them, it's fourteen combinations each. This doesn't take into account the male-female pairing, obviously, but numbers-wise, we're getting close.

Mm. So, really, the best way to test things going forward, outside of the booth, is to try to match these parameters in the next match ceremony.
I don't think that'll be too much of an issue.
no subject
I don't think so either. I know Serpilia and Yingying have been talking about having potential options they've been thinking about that way, and, well! Everyone's pretty reasonable here.
Probably doesn't make for great reality TV, but I couldn't ask for better myself.

Oh, I don't know. Last match ceremony was drama enough for me, so that should keep the viewers invested for a while, non?
