The characters will arrive one by one, in whatever vehicle suits them the best to the front of estate. It's a beautiful estate filled with plants and trees and little ponds and all kinds of little hideaways. But it all cumulates at the main house, where they will be dropped off and greeted by a familiar face who stands outside the house and welcomes them in. They will be able to bring one suitcase with items and clothes as well as their pet(s?).

The main thing to notice when you step into the house though is that cameras are everywhere. Despite the many little hideaways of this house, there's no privacy whatsoever. Oh well!

When everyone is gathered together, the host from earlier will greet everyone with a merry:

"Welcome, my affection seeking friends! This is where you'll be staying the next few weeks. Find a place to settle in and get to know each other! I'll be around, in case you need anything."

He genuinely seems to mean it, at least?! But that seems to be it, he'll slip away in the meantime and leave you all to it.

A few things to note, of course:

There is only one "bedroom" which is a large room, with a closet full of futons to roll out and use in said room. Sleepover time!

There is an extra, extra, extra, extra large futon for Messmer.

In one of the rooms of the estate, there is a lovely piano ready for use. Feel free to ask for more instruments, if you'd like.

The kitchen is filled with food of all kinds and modern appliances so folks can cook whatever they'd like! There is also a bar in the kitchen, stocked with alcohol.

In the living room, there is a screen showing everyone's profiles. It is touch screen, so feel free to swipe through!

There is, of course, a banner in the living room reading 有緣千里來相會 (which, for the keen-eyed, translates to "Fate brings together those that are a thousand miles apart"). This was definitely written by the host.

There is a welcome cake.

I don't doubt we'll have an itinerary that fills up more and more as the weeks progress. This is actually a little bit of a refreshment for me.

[That's good... traveling is actually more tiring than Furina expected it to be. She'll be back to full energy with this more lax arrival schedule so they can focus on granting everyone the wishes they deserve.]

But you don't think they'd throw a surprise into the mix to get a reaction worth capturing?

[Her daily life must be a blur. It leaves him wondering how that feels.]

In such a case, there are 15 others who can rouse you from your slumber in order for you to prepare yourself. Is that what you wish for?

Mmm... [They've only just met; can she trust-slash burden her new housemates with such an expectation? She could always count on the Salon to do it if necessary, but they'd strictly decided to put in only infrequent appearances during the show's filming ~~so shay doesn't have to write them all of the time.~~]

Yes, that'll do. Make sure I'm awake on time if something interesting happens.

[As he has no reason to deny her, and she seems rather nervous about surprises, he will do as she asks.]

Well... that arrangement was quick to set up. You're such an agreeable person. [Or...well, rather, it seems like he's simply accepting of everything.

It's a little concerning, actually. Is he also the type of person who never lets others see his weakness or uncertainty in order to prevent them from taking on more burdens.]

Then...should we call it an accord? [One slutty-Hoyo-glove-adorned hand extends toward him.]

[Not so. If he were more agreeable, he wouldn't be standing here; however, in some ways, she might very well be correct.

Rather than wasting his breath on meandering thoughts, he takes her hand in his.]

It shall be done. Is there aught else you require from me?

[Furina has a strong and confident handshake most days, though Yi Sang's follow-up question does make her hold the shake a beat longer than typical, the movement slowing for a moment of surprised thought.]

Your name, obviously, since it would be strange to be awoken by a stranger. [Unless there was some fairytale curse involved... let's not bring any curses into this, she thinks.]

[Yi Sang's handshake is mildly firm. Furina's hand lingers after, and he makes note of it despite his lack of a reaction.]

I am Yi Sang.

Perfect! That's better. Just because this is all new and exciting, we shouldn't let our manners get away from us.

[Now she's she's released his hand, Furina brings both of hers to her hips, looking certain of herself and their arrangement.]

You can call me Furina. I'm sure some people have been dying to know my nightly routine for years, so you can also call yourself lucky!

[Big, bold statement, but despite the boisterous way she speaks, it doesn't sound all that rude.]

[He does not feel lucky.]

It sounds as though you are a person of certain renown in your homeland, Miss Furina.

Only the former most popular star in all of Fontaine! But don't worry; I'm not resting on my laurels here. This is a completely separate project from any of my ongoing work. I'm here as myself.

[Really, sincerely, honestly, she says all of that. It seems she really is on this show for something for herself.]

Not as an erstwhile star, but as the one simply known as Furina . . . May a clear reflection gaze back at you in the mirror during our time here.

[It takes her by surprise to hear her feelings so succinctly summarized like that. As dispassionate as her new acquaintance seems to be, he reads into things that Furina isn't even sure she said out loud. It's uncannily accurate, if not also strangely reassuring.

Consequently, it takes her a few moments, also, to ramp up her response, so there's an almost audible hesitation in her speech.] ... Thank you for your confidence and well-wishes! I sincerely hope the me reflected back to the audience by the Kameras is the same. And... I sincerely hope that you find what you're looking for, too.
