week one | arrival
The characters will arrive one by one, in whatever vehicle suits them the best to the front of estate. It's a beautiful estate filled with plants and trees and little ponds and all kinds of little hideaways. But it all cumulates at the main house, where they will be dropped off and greeted by a familiar face who stands outside the house and welcomes them in. They will be able to bring one suitcase with items and clothes as well as their pet(s?).
The main thing to notice when you step into the house though is that cameras are everywhere. Despite the many little hideaways of this house, there's no privacy whatsoever. Oh well!
When everyone is gathered together, the host from earlier will greet everyone with a merry:
"Welcome, my affection seeking friends! This is where you'll be staying the next few weeks. Find a place to settle in and get to know each other! I'll be around, in case you need anything."
He genuinely seems to mean it, at least?! But that seems to be it, he'll slip away in the meantime and leave you all to it.
A few things to note, of course:

A few things to note, of course:
- There is only one "bedroom" which is a large room, with a closet full of futons to roll out and use in said room. Sleepover time!
- There is an extra, extra, extra, extra large futon for Messmer.
- In one of the rooms of the estate, there is a lovely piano ready for use. Feel free to ask for more instruments, if you'd like.
- The kitchen is filled with food of all kinds and modern appliances so folks can cook whatever they'd like! There is also a bar in the kitchen, stocked with alcohol.
- In the living room, there is a screen showing everyone's profiles. It is touch screen, so feel free to swipe through!
- There is, of course, a banner in the living room reading 有緣千里來相會 (which, for the keen-eyed, translates to "Fate brings together those that are a thousand miles apart"). This was definitely written by the host.
- There is a welcome cake.

And so, at her offer... she waves a hand dismissively. ]
Eh... No, thanks. I don't like sweets. You sure made it look tasty, though.

[Despite her investment in fine confections, she won't judge Shoko for her differing tastes.
Maybe a little bit. But judgment is not really Furina's due in any way whatsoever, and she's more curious about an experience she can't imagine than anything else.
She looks at the dessert table.] But then what will you have? You can't celebrate the premiere empty-handed. We have lots of hard work ahead of us.
no subject
How about coffee? It would go well with you cake, too, probably. Want some?
no subject
[She pauses, then, and shakes her head.] No, you're right. I'm tired from traveling, anyway, and I don't want to be too exhausted to miss the fun of opening night. Extra cream, please, but no sugar.
no subject
Alright, then. I'll get it started.
[ Excuse her while she's putting the coffee machine on! She can't quite be bothered for anything fancier at the moment... At least Shoko returns soon enough to keep chatting Furina up while the coffee's still going. ]
Anyway, are you some kind of foodie? You were really waxing poetic about that cake, I almost forgot that I don't like sweets.
no subject
Furina does her level best, but as they sit here, she can't help but steal a scraping of frosting or a small bite here and there. It's half temptation and half habit.]
Food should be satisfying, and food should taste good. I'm not really sure that constitutes being a "foodie." When it comes to sweets, though, I've seen some of the best, so a true delicacy really impresses me.
no subject
[ She peers down at the cake as she steals a scrap of frosting. ]
So this cake's really that good, huh...? Hey, let me have a bite of yours.
no subject
Though I suppose if you really don't like it... [She might be able to sneak another slice later, even if Shoko takes a very big bite of this one.
She's being very brave about this! Which Furina only emphasizes not by cutting off a specific piece that Shoko is allowed to have but by sharing the entire plate with her so she can take what she wants.]
no subject
Which is why she tips her head to one side, and keeps a pleading gaze on Furina as she then parts her lips. ]
no subject
[Deep down, she probably already knows what Shoko is doing, but somewhere a synapse is not getting the information to where it belongs, likely blocked by the mental image of a pretty woman opening her mouth to be fed by her.]
no subject
I was hoping you could feed me, Furina-sensei~
no subject
... Fine. But you'd better not be mocking me! [She's really fighting for her life getting teased by all of the beautiful women in this house, and it's not even close. If it's really from a lack of respect, Furina wants to reject that. She props her elbow up, fork aloft.]
Prepare to be converted to its sweetness, okay? [Here's your bite of cake, you animal.]
1/2
[ Shoko, of course, has no idea why Furina would be so flabbergasted beyond that her request is maybe a bit bold... But it almost doesn't matter, for how pleased she is with this reaction. Shoko hopes that she gets the sense that it's not mean-spirited or disrespectful on her part, though. It's just that she's so... animated. It's hard not to.
Anyway, she leans in and takes that bite of cake off the fork triumphantly... ]
no subject
Geh... It was okay.
[ just... okay. ]
no subject
Just okay?!
[She's more offended on her own behalf than the cake's, probably, though this is a delicacy that deserves at least a little defending, in Furina's opinion.]
Even after you had your piece hand-delivered and served to you? That was a pretty good effort on my part.
no subject
The delivery doesn't change the flavor, though...
[ But!! To Furina's credit: ]
You did do a good job, though, Furina-sensei. I'm grateful~ Besides, shouldn't you be glad? This means there's more cake for you. Though- ah, as a doctor, I have to advise you against eating too much of it.
no subject
Oh, come on, don't try to take such petite indulgences away from me! Can't you tell? I already work hard on maintaining my figure, especially now that I'm out of the limelight. Good health is also essential to self-care... but even someone as conscientious as myself can lose sight of that.
[don't ask her about the bedrotting]
