week one | arrival
The characters will arrive one by one, in whatever vehicle suits them the best to the front of estate. It's a beautiful estate filled with plants and trees and little ponds and all kinds of little hideaways. But it all cumulates at the main house, where they will be dropped off and greeted by a familiar face who stands outside the house and welcomes them in. They will be able to bring one suitcase with items and clothes as well as their pet(s?).
The main thing to notice when you step into the house though is that cameras are everywhere. Despite the many little hideaways of this house, there's no privacy whatsoever. Oh well!
When everyone is gathered together, the host from earlier will greet everyone with a merry:
"Welcome, my affection seeking friends! This is where you'll be staying the next few weeks. Find a place to settle in and get to know each other! I'll be around, in case you need anything."
He genuinely seems to mean it, at least?! But that seems to be it, he'll slip away in the meantime and leave you all to it.

A few things to note, of course:
- There is only one "bedroom" which is a large room, with a closet full of futons to roll out and use in said room. Sleepover time!
- There is an extra, extra, extra, extra large futon for Messmer.
- In one of the rooms of the estate, there is a lovely piano ready for use. Feel free to ask for more instruments, if you'd like.
- The kitchen is filled with food of all kinds and modern appliances so folks can cook whatever they'd like! There is also a bar in the kitchen, stocked with alcohol.
- In the living room, there is a screen showing everyone's profiles. It is touch screen, so feel free to swipe through!
- There is, of course, a banner in the living room reading 有緣千里來相會 (which, for the keen-eyed, translates to "Fate brings together those that are a thousand miles apart"). This was definitely written by the host.
- There is a welcome cake.

[ and as such, of course she is game!! Gracefully, she scoots a little closer, already raising her hand to touch the side of Ringo's cheek. Strangely, her hand is a little cold. Her words are warm, playful, and flirty all the same, perhaps laid on extra thick for effect. When she speaks next, she leans closer and lowers her voice, enjoying this thoroughly. ]
Where would you like it, sweetheart? Your cheek, your forehead... your lips?

She tilts her head into the touch, intrigued by it.]
It's gotta be the lips, obviously. That's the experience I'm looking for right now.
[The data she's gathering, so to speak.
And just like that, without another ounce of hesitation, Ringo leans in to close the remainder of that gap, pressing their lips together.]

Sounds pretty crass when you put it that way. But nah, comparing's not what I'm after.
We're supposed to be searching for matches, right? Then data like this is gonna help us figure it out. I hear the way someone kisses can tell you a lot about them.

[ She says the words with overdramatized emphasis, chuckling. ]

Ringo pauses a moment longer, lingering close (hmmm... she smells really lovely too, which only makes the demon accusations feel even more likely), before she finally pulls back properly.]

[ Perhaps it's surprising that Yingying doesn't have much experience herself... given her confidence and ease with getting close to others. But, on the other hand, she was raised in a house of courtesans, and eventually became something adjacent to it herself, even if her moms strictly forbade just any old shmuck from meeting her. She's seen everything there is to see about romance and intimacy, the love tales she's been a witness to aside. or at least that's what is heavily implied in ptn lore don't @ me ]
If I had to pick one, I'd say I'm the more passionate type! Innocent and sweet types are so adorable, though...

Oh wow. Ringo had no idea such a beautiful lady lived in such a spicy place.
Still, it helps to hear this sort of thing. She pauses to consider it as well, matching up "passionate" with the picture Yingying makes. It overlaps pretty nicely, she thinks... but Ringo still isn't sure how to figure out her own.]
Passionate... yeah, I can picture that. There's good balance then with the innocent type, if you're the passionate one.

I believe in living in the present — letting go of the past. A go with the flow type seems to fit nicely, I think.
