[ Mimicking Yi Sang watchfully, Aventurine adds a strip of beef and some sauce to his own lettuce cup, careful not to overload it too much — there's a fine balance between the leaf and the insides. It wouldn't do to spill on his nice attire, after all.

Rather than garlic and cabbage, however, he adds some sesame seeds and thin onions that are nicely caramelized. That should do it... ]

It'd be a pleasure. [ It smells heavenly, and sharing something as simple as food from one's homeland carries a great deal of meaning. ] Bottoms up, then.

[ He takes a bite out of the lettuce wrap, making sure to get a little bit of everything in his mouth. ]

[Yi Sang is no coward. And so, he folds the lettuce wrap in on itself and sticks the entire thing in his mouth the way it's done back home. It's not terribly big, else his table manners would suffer and he does not want to impart bad etiquette onto Aventurine.

He chews, savoring the intense flavors, and swallows. After washing everything down with water, he looks Aventurine's way.]

How is the taste?

[ Wowza...look at him swallowing up that lettuce wrap. He really knows how to unhinge that jaw there...!

Delicious, I'll grant you. You were right on about the sauce - just the perfect amount of natural sweetness.
