[ Just gonna mosey away from the group a little to wherever they've got some water bottles or whatever for the class. He plucks one up and offers it to her. ]
She'll gratefully take it and down half the bottle. While bolting from the crew with Luka for a short time is all well and good, this level of exercise goes above and beyond her abilities. She watches with one parts envy one parts confusion as the men and women continue to excitedly dance away those calories. ]
People really do these things for fun. By choice.
[ Looking up at Nico now, who was just doing that himself before she dragged him away with that same one part envy one part confusion. ]
[ She catches him looking at the rest of the class for a minute, quite amused at how they carry on. When his gaze flicks back to her, he blinks a couple of times. ]
Oh. If you are wondering, I have stamina far beyond that of a human. This is nothing to me.
[ It doesn't really explain the rest of them, unless this is a class full of vampires.
And while that might have been the plot point of an episode of What We Do in the Shadows, Serpilia isn't aware of that fact, and doubts that everyone here has the same boost he does.
Though her understanding of things are a little different, so when he says "far behind that of a human" implying he isn't human, Serpilia's brows raise. ]
Huh? But I thought you were a vampire?
[ And now it's her turn to be confusing with wording in tone, as she makes it sound like she's equating vampire and humanity.
[ Sorry, give her a second here, because while she is aware that she comes from a different world than the rest of them, this is really messing with her own perceptions here. Truly she's feeling like day one Poppy and Edamura right now. ]
Weird... I mean, they are in my world, so I guess I just assumed.
I am afraid I do not know what that means. In my world, there are humans and there are vampires. Canids and lycans are humans who have been altered with the DNA of dogs and wolves, respectively. That is it, though.
Definitely different on that front though, uh... the vampire part isn't so different sounding. I mean, mine aren't immortal or anything, though some of them sure are a little immoral... They're more really love lived than undying though.
Sounds like it's a little rough if some of them aren't exactly good eggs.
[ Well... Serpilia relaxes back against the wall with a sigh. They're so different after all, so maybe Serpilia doesn't have to feel so bad about the tensions between the Sankta and the Sarkaz when it's not like he is one. ]

You are doing well! Just go at your own pace!
no subject
I'm not made for this at any pace.

[ Surely the teacher won’t be bothered if they step aside for a breather. ]
no subject
Please.

Come on. We will get you some water.

Which admittedly, she is. ]

[ He thought that was a pretty well-established fact. ]
I cannot be human if I am a vampire?
[ Help. Where did the wires get crossed... ]

[ Does Sarkaz even mean anything to him? ]

[ Though less altered and more just born as dog or wolf people. ]
Sounds kind of similar, but also really different.

[ He scrubs at the back of his neck with one hand. ]
My people are immortal, and have chosen… less than stellar ways to spend their time.

[ She looks baffled by that one. ]

We lucked out getting you instead then.

I very much doubt any of my kin would even bother. They would consider this some kind of debasement.
