I beg to differ. Just because our perspective has changed doesn't mean it isn't the same moon.

If a cloud was to come across the moon in the sky, so too would the moon in the pond disappear. However, if someone tried to scoop up the moon in the pond with a bucket, they'd be out of luck -- there it would remain, round and full, just the same as the moon in the sky. Do you follow?
